Right, Shellie I did the search on ´candida´ because if I put in other words lots of things came up that were not relevant.
Dotyisle, my liver doesn´t want to know what the fringe alcohols are but my soul does. Could you please tell me the do´s and don´ts? Soul wins, a little bit of what you like can be good for you.
I´m only joking, but seriously I would like to know what is the system here. Does candida come and go, is it always there or if you get rid of it is there a high chance that it won´t come back? Or is it simply that some of us have a problem with starch, some with lactose and some with sugar and then some of us have problems with everything?
I have done the NSD for +/- 6 weeks. I love it and if I can´t eat starch for the rest of my life it doesn´t worry me too much. I worried about before I started but then realised it wasn´t such a big problem. Having said that this candida diet is scaringly severe, although there are some things that I will enjoy (giving up smoking has been plagueing my soul for a long time, now I have no option. The thought that I am on a severe diet and it isn´t working because I am smoking is too much to deal with). Stopping eating fruit will be difficult and would be alot easier if I knew that I could go back to it after a while. Is there a system here?
Thanks again
Fergus
