Hey, it's me again. Got the Zampieron book-very overwhelming! Please put it in plain English for me. What I believe I have figured out so far is that if I have any fungus at all, I probably have candida among other things and need to treat it. The three-day apple fast seems to be a sensible solution. I live in a small town and don't have easy access to a health food store. I'll be in the city this weekend. What do I need? You've mentioned garlic, silver, etc. What about the good bacteria from yogurt since I can't have yogurt? That book is just so overwhelming I just feel like I need a little help knowing what to do and what to take. Can you give me some specifics so I'll know what I need to buy while in the city? Also, after the fast I'll just go back to my NSD right? But will I need to avoid fruit and all types of sugar if I was fasting to get rid of candida or will I be okay to have some after a fast?
Also, can you tell me more about leaky gut? How do you know if you have it? Or do we just assume that we do because of the pain and inflamation? I don't seem to have many digestive complaints on the NSD--no gas, bloating, etc. Might have some constipation if I didn't eat 4-5 prunes every night and I have some food come through undigested.
Thank you for filling in the blanks for me. I'm almost depressed reading this book. Yes it has some very valuable information, but I don't have a naturopathic doctor to go to and can't afford the expense of testing. But I want to feel better!
