Dr Foster is the guy in Cambridge, MA who is the uveitis specialist, and who I have seen. Regarding self medication, people, such as myself, with uveitis that flares up from time to time, are told that if we feel a flare coming on, begin medication immediately. My doctor told me exactly what to take and how often, and to have these medications with me. Then, get seen immediately. Hope this helps,
