The news is getting so hard to watch. So I thought I'd send a prayers/positive thought thread.
To all the people in Slave Lake, Alberta, whose homes have been destroyed by wildfire. I heard in one report that at least 1/3 of the town has been destroyed and there are over 20 wildfires raging in the province.
To all the people in Manitoba, along the Assiniboine and in the Red River Valley, whose homes are being devastated by record flooding.
To all the people along the Mississippi, whose homes are also being devastated by record flooding.
I watch the news and am helpless to help. And I know there's more going on worldwide. So, the best I can do right now is send out my thoughts of love.
