all i can say is wow. whenever i see people on their roofs waiting to be evacuated in a flood, i am always overwhelmed by emotion, and to hear you describe it so calmly and matter-of-factly. brave is the only word that comes to mind. i really have a lot of respect for everyone that has to deal with this. and to loose businesses, homes, etc, i really can't imagine how i would respond to all of that, but i suspect it wouldn't be very well. however, in the end, the most important thing is lives, and to know you and your family are safe....
and thank you for that explanation about all that is involved in evacuating / not evacuating....not so cut and dry......
