If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hello all NSD works for me. I'd like to tell you that today, I'm experiencing a pain level of perhaps 1. Little pain only, I haven't had any pills today either. I hope I can continue improving with out setbacks.

That is great news Chicha! Stick with it!
Iritis first diagnosed in 1991, presently recurrent and steroid resistant. Tested HLA B27 positive in 1996. AS diagnosed October of 2011.
Putting most of my eggs in the NSD and exercise basket, using only TENS, massage, heat and ice, and NSAIDS (sparingly) for pain. Drops for iritis as flare necessitates. Looking back I feel I would have been diagnosed with AS years ago, if I had found a rheumy earlier than 2011.

Congrats! The effort is well worth it. Keep up the inspiration.
AS symptoms started 1991. Official dx in 2006 with HLA-B27+, fused SIJ, bone spurs in back, extreme rib/hip pain, and other family with SpA. Started Enbrel in 2006 with good results, but stopped in 2010 due to nerve damage (MS) from it. Getting good results with no-starch diet since 2011.

Good stuff! Keep it up I've been very nsd-strict for a good while now, with good redults. A couple of days ago, out of the blue, I had two Starbucks drink "products" in the same day, with their mystery syrup-sweetners added. ( I normally only have water or chamomille tea). 36 hours later I ripped something between my shoulder blades, while blow drying my hair! Did I ever feel silly! And dumb. I'm blaming Starbucks... they can take it.
B27+, 2nd Rheumy: 'inflammatory backpain'. IBS + SI/lumbar/thoracic/cervical/knee/elbow stiffness & pain. Managing inflammation very well with diet since Jan 2011. Slow but consistent reduction in symptoms year by year. Haven't seen a physician in years. Took LDN (4.5mg) between 2013-2015, 2018-2019.

Ask your coffee houses if they use any Monin syrups. They are starch free, and come in many flavors. Monin Coffee Syrups Nutritional Info

Thanks everyone It's been like this for 3-4 days now, little pain if any. No pain pills. I've been even drinking hot cocoa a couple of times a day, and I had noticed before that it's not perfectly healthy for my gut, it upsets me a bit but I love chocolate lol. One thing has been bothering me tho.. reflux. I will look for info on that in previous posts and if I don't find any I will make a new thread, but long story short, I've been having reflux problems, to the point that my throat is very funny looking, like when you have an infection, which is possible but I am scared that it might be the acid from the stomach that's causing it.

Never hurts to stop by for a swab for flu or strep. Get a head start on treating it, if that's the case. I'd have the reflux checked out as well. Even if it's not causing your current problem, it's not something you want to allow to get out of control.
Hope you're feeling better!
