Tim,
I am already better today, tho I have a bit of a stuffy nose.
I just can not stop using the inhalers. And I won't.
Thanks Brother..

James,
there does seem to be a connection.
Every breath is a mild pain, always has been.
But I can still expand my lungs quite well, it is just that some times, some days, the air seems to stop at the top and not drift down, make sense?
Keep the ocurse my friend.

Hey Bro Lon,

I've had this problem for what seems like the better part of a century. Which ever side I sleep on, that side of my nose clogs up. I'm told that it is because I have a deviated septum. I've always known that something in me was deviated, but where and what the septum is I'm not entirely sure. Anyway, I have recently added a couple of pillows to my bed to make my shoulders higher than my hips to try to stop the acid reflux that happens at night. Imagine my surprise when my normally clogged up nose stayed more open, and I was able to sleep all through the night (of course with only one trip to the bathroom, but that's a different matter). I don't know if that will help you, Lon, but it might be worth a try.

Oh and of course you will be in my prayers.

Dean

Dean,
It is withmuch love and respect that I submit this post:

"because I have a deviated septum" My dear friend, come by the office and I will get out the demon casting chapter of my ministerial handbook and see if we can send the "deviat" part pack'en! .
"pillows to my bed to make my shoulders higher than my hips" Dean, I know you care lol, but these hips of mine are never going to be lower than my shoulders!! You are of normal body and mind - remember???

"Oh and of course you will be in my prayers. Dean"
lol aside, thanks, I love it here. I can raise my bed again, it may help both Lin and I.

Thanks Lon. I am giving in to defeat with de feet. They are not getting better. The rest of me is following along. The dr. is tapering my Pred because of problems it is giving me and that is adding to my pain. That plus this winter weather that decided that December must be the right time.

I have been thinking of you both.

I have the breathing at night trouble. I think if I were really smart I would trade in my down pillow. :o)

Take care of yourself Lon.

Possi,
I forgot to raise my bed last night after work.
My son is dating a young woman who has a 11/2 year old boy who has 4 fused disks and some brain swelling. He is such a cute boy, but does fall and gets hurt playing with toys.
I would not want to be young again and know the pain I am facing. But if the Lord chose I would do what he asks of me.
Father, help Possi to get some good sleep....

Thanks for the prayer and it worked of course. I slept great.
I feel so bad for the young boy and the pain and the things he can't do.

Like you, I would not do it over again at all if it were going to be the same way. I got my JRA diagnosis at 14 but had been having a lot of trouble before that. I have hurt all of my life and I would not want to do it again. There is some of it though; kids and grands that I would do over and over and over. :o) Guess we don't have a choice in it anyway.

Rest well. Breathe well.
