If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

In the last few days of "lurking" I have learned so much, I am incredibly grateful! A quick run down with me. I was dx'd with AS 5 years ago. My mom has it as well. I'm 28 and a newlywed! My last set of x-rays showed deformity in my spine in my upper back. I've taken MTX, SSZ, Enbrel and Currently Remicade. I took Remicade at 700mg then stopped for a year an a half due to moving and meeting up with a Rhuemie that well, made me feel like it was all in my head. I've started back on Remicade at only 400mg. When I was on it the first time, I honestly felt like I had my life back. I could do what 25 year olds do..:) I was a happy camper. Now, I'm not really getting much, if any, relief from it. I'm a PPD converter too so during my break in Remicade I had to do the 9 month treatment with no tnf's. After doing some research on this site, I think that I am going to try the NSD to see if helps out. I really hope it does, but on the other hand I'm kind of sad about well..all of my favorite foods...I'll survive..;) I've recently made the difficult decision, for me, to start cutting back at work because my work is getting the best part of me and my home life is suffering now. It's time to shift those priorities. I'm preparing to go to working part time on a regular basis. Anyway - thank you for everything you guys post, I finally don't feel alone and am finally getting some information. I was getting a bit frustrated when well..I would google and bing or whatever AS and everything said how manageable it is...and how frustrated and depressed I'd felt...and then I came across a few member driven sites that had good information and woudln't you know it? They hurt like I do, every day is a struggle! I'll stop rambling now, but suffice it to say, I'm a happy girl right now! Misty

Hi, I'm new, too, but this diet is doing great things!I'm so glad this site is here b/c my doc told me TNF or nothing... I was gonna get a cane-now I don't need it! It's hard at first but once you get used to it and make sure there's not ONE thing you don't know about making you think it's not working,it's great!!! Totally worth it! You couldn't force me to eat my fave donut now!!!Good luck!! Shauna

Welcome.
I have been on the NSD for a month, and I have my walking legs back. Good luck in your search for good health.
Lots of good people here in the know about AS.

It seems as though you can't live without the foods you love. That's how my son Danny felt. It took quite a lot of gentle nudging on my part to convince him to try the diet. 7 months have passed and you can't get him to eat anything with starch. Oh by the way, he is pain free.
Good luck to you. The support here is amazing. Just fire away your questions and concerns and you will get answers and support.

Welcome Misty, I am on the LSD with Carol Sinclairs book, and I do take Celebrex and I feel it has made a difference with the stiffness. I wish you the best.

All in need in my life is good health!
