WELCOME, stazzn:

Regret there is no cure for AS, but proper treatment can make it a nuisance instead of a career.

I believe that the difference is totally up to us; to our individual choices.

This is a capricious disease that comes and goes as it might please.
(sorry...it is Robert Burn's birthday)...

The old NSAID, Voltaren (diclofenac), damaged me in ways that greatly accelerated my AS, so I do not recommend any NSAID except for limited time usage. There are much better ways of controlling pain.

The direction of research into this disease will not produce anything resembling a cure, or even effective treatments within (y)our lifetime(s)--within the allopathic medical guilds.

I recommend fasting, monodiets, permanent dietary changes, supplementation, and exercise: AS can be overcome, but only through individual effort. Maybe this is because nothing really worth having is achieved without a serious struggle, lest it be taken for granted.

HEALTH,
John
