Brian - you're right! I do have UC. However the pain I'm talking about comes on suddenly in my SI joint, sometimes as little as 15 minutes after eating. Is this what you're experiencing?
Btw I have read your detailed blog and your experience seems very similar to mine. It's been extremely useful to read.
Glad to hear my blog has helped you out. Typically SI joint pains don't happen right away since the autoimmune system hasn't kicked in to start their process (that 1-3 hours mentioned or longer).
Please do not take this the wrong way, but do you suffer from anxiety or stress? Or do you do a lot of research on your health? I only ask because it took me almost 1 1/2 years to be humbled by overthinking / stress / anxiety for my issues and I started taking
Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) which does some mind altering stuff (mostly for 1 week and then things start to go back to normal) so your body produces it's own pain killers without any additional side effects. LDN might help out this specific issue for you too.
