I would avoid cortisone injections into the heel...can weaken the plantar fascia, leading to rupture. BTDT. The pain relief was awesome for 6 weeks, then it ruptured. Spent 4 months in a cam-walker and had to have surgery anyway. Don't inject the heel or achilles.

DX: Psoriatic Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Psoriasis
Meds: MTX since Oct 2009, 15mg/week. Cimzia-restarted after 2 yrs away.
Epidural Steroid Injections x8; Lumbar Radiofreq Ablation x2
SIJ Steroid Injection x3; Bilateral Radiofreq Ablation SIJ x9
