I am so sorry that you have sore feet! My feet started hurting over 3 years ago....First one and then the other and then both. I used $500 orthotics and than $800 orthotics and fancy healthy shoes and meds! Nothing really helped for 3 years they got worse and worse until I got diagnosed with AS. I started Remicade last month and my feet feel much better. I have way less pain and a better range of motion.
If your feet hurt go to a few good shoe stores and ask questios and try shoes on. Do not buy any if they are not comfortable in the store. Make sure you do not rush your purchase. If none feel comfortable ask your doctor for his opinion and or get a second opinion. Insoles and orthotics helped a bit but my feet just got worse and worse. I would fall asleep with ice tied to them. I could hardly walk down or upstairs and I had to go part timeat work they were so sre - I am 42 years old.
Please look after yourself and your feet! Good luck.
New Balance shoes and staff did help and I threw out alot of my shoes.
