Oooh, I
love the photos!!!
Love the brick doorway,..
Adore the bird's eye perspective of Jeanna,...
and
gotta love the ice cream truck... (yum, ice cream!)

Wisking the bride off for some ice cream - excellent! Who wouldn't want ice cream? Hmmm, or was it Jeanna tugging on Loz's sleeve perhaps?

Love it.
And Jeanna, you are a vision! You both look absolutely beaming with happiness!
My love & congrats to the newlyweds!
mig
Thanks for sharing the pictures. You two look great togeather.
Wow! The pics are gorgeous -- the garden is gorgeous -- you guys are gorgeous!!!

Thanks for sharing the pics and I hope you are having the time of your lives!!!
Champagne for everyone!!!!
Holly
To the Wonderful KA couple.
Jeanna, you are truly beautiful, and you are so radiant in those pictures.
Loz, you are very handsome, and I can see why Jeanna grabbed you.
You guys are a wonderful couple, and I hope you have many years of love and happiness. If the love that you two are showing in your pictures are any indication, then a long and happy marraige you will have.
You are an insperation to all of us.
Love to you both.
Lori
PS, I just showed Eric the pictures. At first he was mad at me because I did not bring him to your wedding, but I explained the party next year, so he is cool. The pic in black and white with Jeanna holding the flowers in color is his favorite. He thinks it is neat how they did it.
You two are absolutely beautiful. I wish you both the very best !!!!
Sherri
Yay!

Thanks so much for sharing the beautiful pictures. You are both radiant in love.

May you share many happy years together!
Those photos are so beautiful!! My wedding is this weekend and i can only hope for pictures that beautiful!! I've been doing so good with not being in pain, but lately with all the stress my body is starting to act up, with hip pain and seems as though my back wants to start acting up again. I've had no time in months to even check in here. But you made such a beautiful bride, and i hope all the best for you. Best Wishes!
Vicky
Great photos.
Best wishes again to the two of you. May you succeed together in all your dreams and laugh off the woes and the occasional failures with a wink and a starch free beverage.
Nice pictures. Ditto to what everyone else has said. Truly outstanding !!
Hi Jeanna/Loz: I can only echo what others have said: "wow and double wow", "breathtaking", "absolutely beautiful", "amazing", "yum, ice cream", "you're both beaming with happiness", "gorgeous", "drop dead gorgeous", "pretty snazzy", "stunning", "awesome", "radiant and handsome" and "truly outstanding". I wish you all the happiness, thank you for sharing...Tom
WOOOOOOOOOOOOW, my vocabulary is not big enough for this! AWESOME!
Thanks for sharing your pictures with us. Best Wishes and a very happy life together.
Keep Kickin'AS
Chris
Very Very nice!
I wish you the very best!
You are beautiful! You both look great! I am so happy for the both of you! Congrats on a beautiful wedding and a wonderful marraige!!!Best Wishes!!!
Ahh, Mr. and Mrs. at last! Thank you for taking the time to include your family here at KA.
We expected the interlude. Think Tim even mentioned turning the pcs off.
Stunning photos guys. You both look storybook perfect and managed to sling in a few candid emotions for those trying photo sessions. If this is just a small sample of the quality of work, you've found yourself a gem photographer. Doorway moment, ice cream truck, black and white with colored flowers are all extrodinary.
Most importantly now will come your time to slip into a comfortable relationship. Savor it, as I know you will.
best to you both
Klem
way cool, just noticed this post made my 600th
Congratulations to the both of you! Beautiful pictures of an incredibly beautiful couple!
All the best to you on this new part of your journey together...
Sherree
wow - that is some news to me - AWESOME!
Nice!!!
I think it's fair to say that this is one of those moments where I can scream "you both ROCK". Just gave a shout out here in the office. What a great moment, my favorite picture is right below the one with Jeanna looking up...Loz is looking suaver than Bond and Jeanna prettier than a fairy tale princess...and I love that car!
Love and Peace to you both, forever and ever, wherever your new life leads you. I will raise my glass to you both, tonight at the Astoria beer garden!!
Linc
Beautiful, just beautiful.
Thank you so much for sharing.
I hope you are both happy forever with your chosen one.
Congratulations Guys, you look so happy and so perfect together. I'm sure you'll have a wonderful life together.
Take care and keep smiling,
Rose
Thanks for sharing these photos-they are beautiful...
Congrats once again...
Beautiful! Congrats you two!
Very nice! Congratulations to you both. May you have many happy years together.
Kelly.
Wow Tim, thank you for such lovely comments

... you certainly know how to make a girl blush. And you're 110% correct about Loz, he was sooo sharp, he nearly poked my eye out!!
We're working on the happiness, one bit of red tape at a time

Truth is, we're closer than we've ever been, so that's something really special.
Thanks again for your very sweet comments Tim, and for being the first of our many friends to reply to our thread.
Hugs,
Jeanna
Awww Jonathon. Succinct and lovely, as usual. Thank you.
I've been meaning to mention, in another thread about our wedding, you posted a photo of a handfasting. Did you know we included a handfasting in our ceremony? I'm sure photos will follow.
Here's a big hug for you
Jeanna
Beautiful pictures as always.....you guys always look so comfortable together, just like you where always meant to be. Thanks for sharing the pictures of your special day with us all.
Dan and Janet
Well Cara, we had to try to live up to the beautiful photo you've shared with us for years!!! Thank you very much for your sweet words, and as for sharing, it was a complete no-brainer that we were going to post here just as soon as we could!

Love,
Jeanna
Hi Daz!
Thank you for your lovely comments. Looking forward to meeting up at a UK Kickers Gathering!
Take good care, y'hear?

Jeanna
Ah BBJ, good to have you back you red-necked, fun-lovin', roadkill-eatin' son-of-a-gun! I've been watchin you, and your claims of druggin' me a good husband. So what if you're right, he gosh darn stuck around, din-he?
As you can clearly see, my redneck's a slippin'. Glad to have you back for some in-four-ma-shun sessions
Thanks for your kind words and congrats. Means alot coming from you.

Jeanna
Hey Sharebear! (such a great nick, in case I've never mentioned it)
Thanks for your compliments, and for your faith in my hair dresser. I do love how it turned out, thought admittedly, that was my one Bridezilla moment of the day

. I jumped on my hairdresser a little bit when things weren't going as I had pictured it, but I quickly apologized afterwards.
We're enjoying being married very very much, even if at times it still surprises us to call each other husband and wife
Hugs,
Jeanna
Hi Lisa:
You're right, it was an amazing, magical perfect day.

We just can't wait to do it all again Winnipeg part-eh style next year
Thank you for your very sweet comments. As IF we weren't going to share them with all you ASkickers. Could you imagine what Lori would do to me if I didn't share them straight away ...
Hugs,
Jeanna
Thank you Pat for your kind comments about my dress. I had been looking for something entirely different when I found that dress. It was about the 6th dress I tried on at the one and only dress shop I went to. Because I was purchasing off the rack instead of mailing due to time constraints, we had to make some modifications, but it all worked out really really well. In fact my favourite bit of the dress (that you can't really appreciate in these small photos) is the lace up corset back. It's the only dress that's fit me
really well (b/c it could be done as tight or as loose as I needed it), AND it made me feel like a princess

.
As for Loz, well, you said it

. Honestly though, I was beginning my walk down the aisle, and I suddenly thought 'oh my god, I'm going to break down so badly, I don't think I can let everyone see me cry like that'. But then I saw my handsome, perfect prince, and it was all OK. Until the vows that is...

Thanks again Pat, for your words and your beautiful pic.
Jeanna
Hi Mig

Thank you for your very sweet comments. We had soooo much fun with our photographer. Her name is Carrie Kosky and she's a hobby-ist (i.e. not a professional) but she obviously loves her job and is so very good at what she does. She does wedding photos at an unbelieveably reasonable price because she believes that people should have photos they can afford, not forgo wedding pictures because they cant afford them. All that PLUS she's *such* a cool woman.
Nearly all the photo shoots were her idea, including sneaking into the English Gardens without permission, and the funky doorways you see. As for the ice cream that was all us

. We were quite honestly melting, and needed some relief. Sooo the groom bought ice creams for all of us and Carrie said, "wait, wait, I have to get that shot!"
We were beaming, and we still are, with the exception of that pesky immigration stuff...

. I hope our application is as solid as we believe it to be
In the meantime we have a whole new load of happy memories to keep us close.
Love to you Mig. We'll have to catch up sometime soon.
Jeanna

Thanks for sharing the pictures. You two look great together.
Thanks for saying that Steve, but you know what, we feel great together too. I've simply never felt so completely happy.
Simply beautiful...
Hi Paula,
Thanks for you kind comments. We were so lucky with the conservatory! The display had been changed just that week to topiary, so there were horticultural representations of all sorts of wonderful creatures around the place. To our delight the centre piece was a unicorn, a good luck symbol!
Hiya Chelsea,
We both had 'something in our eye' during the vows and if anyone was listening carefully, before the vows they would have heard the Wows I uttered when Jeanna appeared at the back and floated dream-like toward me!
Wow she looked amazing!
Hiya Valerie,
Glad you enjoyed the pics. It was a lot of fun having them taken, Jeanna was gorgeous enough to stop traffic in the photo sessions downtown, or at least to ellicit a chorus of "Honk-Hooonk"s from all manner of passing trucks etc. It made us both smile even bigger smiles for the the photos
wow. i am misty eyed just from that preview. you both look absolutely breathtaking. May you have the best life together.
*hugs*
marnie
Hey Megan:
Thank you so much. You said, "You two make such a gorgeous couple!", and while I agree completely, I think it has a lot to do with the amount of love we share. My dad's been known to say: "You only have to see the two of them together to know how much they love each other". And a cousin of mine said to me (the day after the wedding), "I get why you're going to England now, you just light up when Loz walks into the room."
Lots of love, right back atcha!
Jeanna
Oh no Holly, we didn't mean to make you

again. Surely the thread title gave you a heads up... We didn't mean to, really we didn't.
Our day was all the better for the fairy dust. Thank you so so much for sending it our way.
Speaking of champagne ... oh, what a night. But as my mum-in-law says, you know it's good champagne when you don't have any ill effects afterwards
Love,
Jeanna
Dear Loz and Jeanna,
Sorry it has taken so long to respond to the wonderful news! I wish you both a very long and HEALTHY life together. My wife Monica gave up her life while I was struggling for mine back in 1998 to be sure she was there at my side when I awoke from my coma. We were not married at the time and had only spent 4 days together when my illness struck. She stayed by my side the entire time. That is surely pure love. We have never had an arguement in 8 years because we do not let the unimportant small stuff get in the way like most couples do. We know first hand how very short this life can be and we will not waste it on trivial issues.
Make every second count, and make every second better than the last.
Big hugs to you both,
Bob
Jeanna,
One is allowed to cry at weddings, right?!?! JOYFUL SQUALLING???? I got teary eyed seeing the shared joy of you two!!!
Glad to know the Champagne caused no ill-effects!! Gotta love a Mom-in-Law that knows the value of good champagne!! LOL!!
MUCH LOVE AND MANY HUGS TO THE HAPPY NEWLYWEDS!!!!!!!!!
Holly
CONGRATULATIONS - lovely pitures!
Hi Jeanna, where abouts in the UK will you be living?
Hi Sarah.
I'll be joining Loz in Leicester, when all the immigration papers go through

*everything crossed*
So do you now have to show a passport at immigration control to get in and out of Leicester? !!
Oh, and . . many congrats!
I've never been to Leicester myself, the UK is so small yet there are sooo many places i've never visited! Good luck with everything, fingers crossed it won't be too much of a hassle now that you're married
Well it is north of Watford Gap of course...
(Running, fast....

)
To be fair, I went to University there - best City in the midlands without question.
Jeanna and Loz these are beautiful!! Jeanna, you look absolutely lovely (Loz you do too, but it's a girl thing, ya know?

). I'm so happy for you both.
Thank you for sharing them.
Many hugs,
Congratulations guys. Looks like you had a lovely wedding, all the best to you both.
WOW you two ...you both look so good and of corse very happy. My Congratulations to you Jeanna and Loz. Will you be staying in England? Look me up when you guys come back to Winnipeg to visit. It would be exciting to meet up with you again.
Oh...and by the way Jeanna thanks for adding me to MSN.I'm not online a lot but if we should meet...I love chatting with you.
love yous
Ray
I'm in blue... Jeanna, you are truly beautiful, and you are so radiant in those pictures.
Yes, isn't she just?
It's wonderful to look back on them and remember the day our dream came true and see all the happiness abound. Loz, you are very handsome, and I can see why Jeanna grabbed you.
You're really too kind
You guys are a wonderful couple, and I hope you have many years of love and happiness. If the love that you two are showing in your pictures are any indication, then a long and happy marraige you will have.
Yep, that's certainly our plan
You are an insperation to all of us.
Long distance relationships are really hard as I'm sure you know. A love as strong as ours can survive anything but there's no point pretending it's easy being apart even with our combined strength. We'll be together before November's out, but I'm secretly hoping for an October miracle. Love to you both.
Lori
PS
Tell Eric the B&W picture with the coloured flowers doesn't show Jeanna's face and she want's an explantion for this being his favourite! (Some suitor he was. Humph!
)
Awww, thanks Sherri. I think it's safe to say we both *felt* beautiful that day too. Well, I certainly did. The AS monster was a bit of a bother, but nothing two people crazy in love can't deal with...

Our best, back to you,
Jeanna
Oh Vicky! I wish I had replied to this sooner. Your wedding has come and gone, but I want to give you the most heartfelt congratulations. May you and your new husband (!!! I love that word) have the best of health, happiness and love always.
I'm confident that you were a beautiful bride, every bride is when they marry their one true love. It wasnt until I was winding down later in the evening (and after our very lengthy - but completely worth it! - photo shoot) that my AS started making itself known. Of course, I'm a very lucky girl to have a groom that understands so completely.
Vicky, Please please share your photos when you get them. I'd love to see them.
Many happy wedding hugs to you. Have a great honeymoon (if that's on your agenda).
Jeanna
I just want to echo my wife's(!) congratulations and wishes for happiness.
I'm touched that you took the time to reply to our thread in the busy time running up to your own wedding.

Hey Steve,
We've spent years sending virtual winks and other emoticons to each other on MSN messenger and on many and various cyber-chat software programs depending on where each of us found ourselves at the time. In fact in all the time we've been in touch and all the places we've travelled since, we've never failed to virtually find each other somehow. Sounds romantic and indeed it is but the other side of the coin is the frustration of being apart and that is almost impossibly hard sometimes. Almost.
My point is I welcome hard times ahead together, because we'll be together when we face them.
Thanks a lot Betty. You echoed others' comments and I must say everyone's positivity about our relationship and most recently our marriage has been nothing short of mind blowing.
Your comments are most kind and very much appreciated
Wow Tom, I hadn't tried to put all the comments together like that. What a list of wonderful thoughts and feelings!
Thanks for that, feels pretty good!
Sorry to take so long to reply - I've been away for a couple of weeks.
Jeanna - I gasped when I saw the photos. You are truly stunning.
Such a beautiful couple and your happiness shines through in every picture.
Thankyou for sharing with us.
Maggie
Strutsy and Loz,
Just want to say how great you both look and Strutsy you smile was great but I have to say which I have so many times no one beats Loz's smile it is a 100,000,000.00 smile and it was way more than that on your special day.

I am very happy for you both and hope you found all the happyness and love you both have been looking for and have giving to others. I just think it is so great that two special people like you have found each other. We all love you and hope the best for you.
All my love,
Donna

WOOOOOOOOOOOOW, my vocabulary is not big enough for this!
Wow will suffice Hana, and with twelve (12!!!) O's to boot! Yup, that's more than enough to give a rough idea of how you're feeling
Thanks for your kind words here, and leading up to the wedding. It seemed as if you were nearly as excited as I was, and it was lovely to have that sort of energy around me.
Oh, and in the thread about me as a CMA-Merck student, you said that everyone was much more interested in seeing me in white... I hope you don't mind I opted for champagne - a much more flattering colour for my skin tone
Many hugs and smiles to you Hana.
Jeanna
Thank you Buggie!!
Your fav is a peculiar photo of me, I HATED it at first, bc it's not a view I ever see of myself, but it's grown on me...
I just picked up our proofs this week. There are so many wonderful shots (if I do say so myself).
And speaking of dashing... you just wait until I share more of my terrible dashing and debonaire husband with you all. What a hotie!

Love to you and all the bugs,
Jeanna
Oh Paul! How you make me laugh. But 14

and 6

!!! Surely you've forgotten that you're English?! Where's the stiff upper lip?

Perhaps his Lordship meant to send off a more appropriately worded memo?

You've been such a good friend Paul. Starting a thread of well-wishes, sending us an e-mail. Thank you so much, you generous soul. We look forward to meeting up with you, most definitely. I miss England y'know, and of course, I miss some very key important people desperately. Looking forward to making that right sometime soon.
Much love to you and Pam,
Jeanna
Hey Chris!
Of course we were going to share our photos with the people at KA, was there ever any doubt?
Thank you very much for your wishes for a happy life together. And of course, we'll have a happy life kickin' together too, so that's even better

Hugs,
Jeanna
Eric likes the concept of the black and white pics with a little color in them. He said he could not pick a favorite picture with Jeannas face showing, as she looked beautiful in all of them.
If those are Erics own words he's going to go far!
Really a superb save, I couldn't have done better myself. Congratulate him for me, and let him know the British diplomatic corps will be keeping an eye on this bright young talent from afar.
Congratulations! My best to the two of you!
Hey stranger, hit me up on IM
Been gone for a bit and miss out on the wedding of two dear friends.
Guess that is what I get for being a stranger here.
Best wishes to you both.
Dear Brother Lon:
With everything you have going on in your life right now, I feel so honoured that you took some time to reply to our thread. Please know that Loz and I think very highly of you (you often sneak into our conversations y'know?), and that we wish you the best of everything, including health.
You're in our thoughts.
Jeanna (and Loz)
Dear Kate:
Thank you for your sweet comments

and congratulations. Beautiful wedding and wonderful marriage - I like the sound of that verrrrrrrrry much
Our heartfelt thanks,
Jeanna and Loz

just noticed this post made my 600th
Oh, how cool
So glad we could be a part of your designation as a Master AS Kicker - which you are, in so many other ways that 600 posts
Thank you for your wonderful comments. Our photographer (get this) isn't a professional! She calls herself a hobbyist, and provides this service for people at prices MUCH more reasonable than other photographers. AND, we get a CD of her photos. She was so relaxed, and so much fun. The ice cream was a genuine *god, it's so hot, especially in these clothes, we need ice cream, now* moment. She was walking to her car when she saw us and came back 'wait, wait, I need a photo of that'. She listened to our suggestions, had great ideas of her own, and was all around a great lady.
We're so looking forward to slipping into that comfortable relationship you're speaking about. To be a bit Dickens-ish about it, it is the best of times, it is the worst of times. Saying goodbye to each other so soon was the toughest so far, yet somehow doing it as man and wife makes us feel more grounded. The proverbial double-edge sword.
Our best to you always Klem. Love ya lots,
Jeanna
Hey Sherree! How's it going stranger? Thank you for popping in to say hello. Life must be keeping you busy lately (hopefully in only the very best ways), so thank you doubly much for stopping in on our very happy thread, it means a lot.
All the best to you on YOUR life journey too, and thank you for the wishes for ours. We're looking forward to it very, very much.

Hugs,
Jeanna
Thank you Wind Rider!
We love sharing our photos with the folks at KA, so thank YOU for looking over them. I felt deliriously happy that day, and I think Loz felt pretty happy too. Apparently, that comes through in our photos

Wishing us the best forever, is a terribly sweet thing to say. I promise you, we'll do our best to live up to our end of the bargain.
Hugs,
Jeanna
Oh Ansram. We didn't mean to sneak up on you with this... honest we didn't. Here's the very abbreviated version. We met many years ago on KA. Fell in love. Have been doing a long-distance relationship for 2 years, Loz proposed in March, we got married on September 9th, and we're now waiting for immigration to grant me my settlement visa.
Thanks Ansram, for your post. We think it's pretty AWESOME too

Jeanna
Hey Linc!!!
Thanks for your office shout out

. You're too cool for words.
Sauver than Bond? Prettier than a princess? Hope our cheque arrived safely in the mail

. Seriously though, Loz is really dreamy, isn't he?
Thank you very much for the tribute of a glass of Astonia's finest. And dear Linc, you must know, we wish the very same for you

Many hugs,
Jeanna
Hiya Carol
It really,
truly is our pleasure to share with everyone at KA. Quite frankly, we never cease to be blown away by the response here. We're so touched to have so many friends from far and wide wishing us well. It's a bit overwhelming if you step back for a moment to think about it.
I can't speak to forever, but we're both verrry happy right now. And I could lay a pretty safe bet on forever.

Many hugs to you Carol. Hoping to meet you sometime on the other side of the pond.
Jeanna
Speaking of smiles, what a gorgeous smile you've got there Rose! Definitely the sort that lights up a room.
Thank you for your sweet words. It's really special to hear people say that we look perfect together, because that's exactly how we feel.

Being together is so so easy, and something that we don't
ever take for granted.
I hope that life is treating you well in your part of the world Rose.
Hugs,
Jeanna
Thank you Sigrid, thank you very very much.

Hugs,
Jeanna
Hello
I really wanted to see your pictures of the wedding but unfortunatley our server here at work has put up a firewall so I am unable to see your pics...I thinks its because the site you use for your pics has the word 'virgin' in the title...but I'm sure you both looked wonderful...."Congrats to you both"
Jim
Such lovely pictures for you both to enjoy right up to your senior years.
Have a wonderful life together,
George
Hey Strutster!
Love that "we're not worthy" (wayne's world) icon!!! Yes, you're cheque arrived safely...being a dude, I have no comment on the dreaminess of one OOLoz, but he does look like he works for "Q" in that pic! You both look fantastic and totally in love and I'm sure it'll be forever...there's a tale to tell here, a modern love story that beats "You've Got Mail"....lol...for sure...someone start writing!!
Keep rockin'
Peace
Linc
Those were Erics thoughts, my words. He told me he likes those types of pictures with just a little color, (we have them in the bathroom at home) and all of the wedding pics were his favorite. He could not pick one.
I just spruced it up for him a bit.
Thank you Mrs Snowshoe Hare, we appreciate your comments very much. I wasn't thinking it at the time, but as soon as Jeanna appeared at the back ready to come down the 'aisle' it was perfectly obvious that the pictures were going to be great!
Quote:
May you have many happy years together.
Thank you Kelly,
You've succinctly stated there plans A, B and C from out list of 3 possible scenarios going forward.....
Quote:
you guys always look so comfortable together, just like you where always meant to be
Hi Dan, and thanks for such kind comments,
You've hit the nail on the head again. As you see in my sig file, I married my 'soul mate' - the thing is we can't help but feel that we were somehow destined to be together.... just as you said, "always meant to be".
Please pass our very warmest wishes to Janet
What beautiful photos! I can't think of anything to say that hasn't already been said. I'm just so glad to finally get back to KA so I could see them. We finally got into our house in the Isle of Man this week and have Internet access at home so hopefully I will be around more now.
Congratulations again to you both.
Hugs,
Connie

Simply beautiful...
Yeah, that's what I said
Hey Marnie - thanks for replying

You got misty-eyed looking at the photos - well you should have seen me trying to get through my vows! Goodness. The photographer had to take so many photos of me before she got one where I looked human. It's amazing all the different ways you contort your face when you're trying not to cry ...
Thanks for your comments and well wishes, they mean a lot.
Hugs,
Jeanna
Bob, what a touching, thoughtful reply. Thank you so much.
You've shared your story with me before, about Monica during your coma. But I'm glad you told it again, so that more people can hear about the wonderful love you two share.
I tell our story differently of course, and while it doesn't have the same sort of life or death impact, we end at a similar conclusion. When Loz and I first realised we'd fallen in love, the very concept of being married to each other one day was nothing but an unattainable daydream. But here we are some 4+ years later. Becuase of that, we dont take the little things for granted like other couples sometimes do. We cherish every single moment of it. Little things like being able to curl around each other at night, or making a meal side by side. Heavenly.
Quote:
Make every second count, and make every second better than the last.
That's very sound advice Bob. Well noted.
Very big hugs to you too
, and though we've not met her, please pass on our best to your lovely wife Monica.
Jeanna
Hey Timo! Thanks!
Still can't believe that we missed each other in the UK by so little time last year. We must be certain to rectify that soon. And I mean that, OK?
All our best to you. Hope you're keeping well.
Hugs,
Jeanna

Finally made it, all the way up to you Evelyn. Thank goodness!
Thank you for your congratulations here and there this last week

. It's been so nice to catch up a bit. I thought you'd be interested to know that my casual experience has become a full time, short term position

. Thankfully (for me anyhow), it's non-lab based (more chart reviews and the like, possibly some patient contact), so I'm a happy girl.
Much love to you Evelyn. You'd be surprised how many times you find your way into our conversations (while fixing some gluten free pizzas for example, yum!) Just look at Loz's profile, you'll see what I mean!
Hugs,
Jeanna
Hey Kat!
Thank you so much for finding time to reply to our post during the very busy lead-up to your trip and hike!
We're so happy, and the other puzzle pieces are falling into place too. 2005 is definitely a banner year for us

Thanks honey. Hope to see more of YOUR pics soon too.
Hugs,
Jeanna
Thanks Shane. We did have a lovely wedding, we really really did. Thank you for your kind wishes.
the very best to you too,

Jeanna
Who knows Sarah, where all those UK ASkickers (and one happily displaced Canadian) will meet up one day for a party. Wherever it shall be, I will hope to meet you there...
Thanks for your good luck wishes,
Jeanna
Hey Bilko!
Very nice that you popped into our thread to say hello. Not sure if your question was a sort of dry comment that you're oh-so-good-at, or if it was a genuine question, so you'll forgive me if I answer it appropriately, and keep the chuckling to a minimum

I was warned at passport control the last time I visited, to not visit the UK again until after I was married, with my settlement visa. (Stupid me, using the word 'fiance' at passport control.

) Anyhow, since we've been married, we've put together my visa application (you won't believe the amount of time and energy we put into it). Part of the application calls for my passport to be submitted (a tricky way to ensure people don't travel me thinks). When my application is approved, I'll get a visa, which I'll have to show at passport control. So in a round about way, since I have to show passport/visa to get into the UK, I need to show it to get to my ultimate destination of Leicester.
Thanks for your congrats. Many in fact. Aww Bilko, you're going soft on us.

Many hugs,

Jeanna
Oh dear. Bilko
was joking. And now I've gone and answered him seriously when there was no need. Hhhmph.

You said it Jo. It's particularly good for it's pub crawls too, don't you think?
Oh, and, erm, what exactly is the Watford Gap?
So much to learn.
Hugs,
Jeanna
Hey Ray!
Thanks for your hospitality and indulging me with my proofs the other night. Of course, the real treat for me was getting to see your wedding album (what a handsome couple, loved the daisies on the dress Carol!), and your daughter's album - with the dress to end all dresses!
We've firmed up a date ... I'm leaving Winnipeg on Nov 22. I've also started working full-time for the interim, so things will be tight, but I don't see a reason why we can't squeeze in another chat!
Hugs to you both, my fellow Winnipeg ASkickers.
Jeanna
Oh Maggie, please don't apologise for taking time to reply. Well wishes are ALWAYS welcome.
Gasping when you saw the photos?

But seriously, that's a very sweet thing to say. If it isn't too pompous for me to say, the photos seem to evoke emotion in many who look at them. I think it has more to do with our story, and yes, like you've said, the happiness we share. We've been married three weeks (yesterday), but when we fell in love I was a goner. I've been married to Loz in my heart, mind and soul since then. It's like the last lines of our vows "I promise all that I have, and all that I am, for all of time".
Thanks for giving me an opportunity to gush Maggie. Hope you didn't mind.
Hugs,
Jeanna
Hey Donna!
Thank you for your kind comments, and for mentioning my husband's special smile

. It really is the best, isn't it? Imagine how special I felt seeing that smile (and my gorgeous man) waiting for me at the end of the aisle. As I've already mentioned to someone else, when I heard the first bars of "What a Wonderful World" start playing, I didn't think I could do it. I was just overcome with emotion, my legs felt like jello. But then I saw my Loz, and that terrific smile he shares with the world, and suddenly everything was alright again.
We're really happy to have found each other, it's nice when other people say they're happy we did too.
Hugs,
Jeanna
Well Mrs Loz (!) now that you are licensed to administer poisons and crossing the Atlantic I do need to be careful, but your other half would never be taken in. A word of advice though, when your english and punjabi patients make jokes don't look mystified, just set a hard dismissive look on your face - they'll think you got it and will feel chuffed. Come to think of it, the way you change the subject - - -
Belated "Congratulations", and all my very best wishes to you both, Jeanna

(Sorry for being so late!

)
You look stunning, and Loz very handsome

I hope your day was, and your life together will be, as wonderful as it looks in the photos.
Love and
((((HUGS))))
to you both,
Sue
Hi Jeanna and Loz

My best wishes to the newlyweds !
Olivia
Hi Jimmy,
I've uploaded these two photos to my work host for you, hopefully your work server will let these through.

Thanks Loz
You both look great...love the B&W photography...again congrats to you both
Jimmy
Ah George,
How nice to see you pop into our thread.
Thoughts of my retirement were very much in my mind a few short years ago. The way things were I was destined to be unhappy and I really do not believe that we are here on this earth to simply accept mediocrity and unfulfillment. That, in my view, would be an insult to those that gave us this life.
Jeanna was in a silimar position and of a similar mind set. Meeting and finally marrying has modified our futures in every conceivable way. Physically we won't be where we were heading, our emotional existence will be entirely dfferent too and yes, I'll have these photos and associated memories to review with ever increasing pleasure
Hi Connie,
Happy to hear you're safely on the beautiful
Isle of Man. I would say welcome to the UK, but you're not actually in it, but rather in one of the
Crown dependancies Fascinating stuff to a librarian such as yourself....
You're absolutely right about our photos - what else is there possibly left to say? I'm just happy it looks as good as I actually was.

We're both glad to see you back around again, and grateful for your PM support and encouragement surrounding the Visa application.
Hugs from both of us,
Hi Sue,
No problem being late at all, any lovely message such as the one you posted is welcome at
any time, also congratulations and well wishes are always nice to receive
Thanks for your reply and for all your kindly words and thoughts
Thanks a lot Christine,
I think you married last year? Please accept our reciprocal well wishes for your continued happiness together.
Many many thanks for your kind reply Olivia.
I don't think we've 'met' on this board yet, so may I wish you a belated welcome. It's always sad to see another person need this site, yet always good to know that in their need they have found it. It's an amazing place, it really is.
WOW, more great pictures!!!
Looking at your tickers, i cant believe it s already almost a month ago!
Good for you Jeanna, I hope you enjoy your project, and thanks to you and Loz for including me in your lives in this nice way! thanks, Evelyn
