Has anyone had root canals extracted and feel any better? I've been reading up on toxic teeth from doctors such as Hal Huggins, Weston Price and Mercola. My health has been getting worse and worse very fast. I'm in desperate measures to relieve this AS pain I'm in. My heart and lungs have been acting crazy, but tests show nothing wrong?? Have been on NSD for two years, am very active and fit. Rheumatologist is great but keeps pushing drugs after drugs. Tried two biologics now and can't seem to get past the second set of shots- too many scary side effects! So I decided to see a holistic dentist who follows Hal Huggins protocols. I had an expensive 3D X-ray done on teeth even though I have no pain in teeth and regular X-rays show no problems. Turns out the one root canal I have left has infection in it. Crazy! I could see the black pocket (infection) below tooth on the pictures. Next step will be to extract this tooth and see if it makes any difference in overall health issues. I have no mercury in mouth but apparently just regular fillings, implants and root canals can cause your body to build an immune response to. A lot of interesting information out there.

If you are willing to put up with the dental treatment then I think you may as well go or it. I don't suppose you will get an immediate improvement in your A.S. but after a while who knows!
