Hi everyone
I am new here. I have been surfing the internet and while googling i found Peter Winslow site and i also found Ralphitness site. They are coaching people and helping them to recover from AS. I would love comments on this. They use a mind body/aproach, named as Winslow method. What do you think of them. Anyone of you working with them?

I am not sure anyone can totally recover form AS but it can be managed. It may go into remission. I did read that one book calmed AS could be cured by laughter. I did Laughed so hard but still have AS. Exercise and diet seem the best way for me to manage AS.

I would seriously just go straight for the meds. It sucks when you waste your health away on junk science and realize that it did nothing but make you worse.

All meds / herbs and vitamins have an affect. Who would guess that ringing in the ears would stem from NSAIDS? Keep us posted as to how you are doing.
I keep the New Covenant, when I fail....I am pulled back into place by HIM.

Hey Blenda, I hv had AS. For last 8 years and hv been practicing Yoga n Buddhism which essentially means changing your self at the 9th counciousneds.it does work but takes time.. I believe that the world we live in, we need to hv holistic approach of Diet,exercise, mind and medicines as and when needed. But most important is to never give up hope! And keep your life force high!! Good luck .. n be blessed!!

I have not heard of it Blenda. However I had very painful s i joints and had the nerve burnt off twice for relief. However, for long term relief a diet that is mostly raw veggies with some chicken and fish have made a world of difference. I cannot fudge with grains at all or I cannot moved and every joint burns in the morning. Try juicing once a day with vegetables and apples . I cannot begin to tell you the difference it makes in how I feel. I feel like I am healing inside out. My labs have all improved. I used to have nine things come back out of range on my bloodwork, now just one or two.
Diet change has improved my RA. I feel best eating raw veggies and some fruits and avoiding grains, sugars, nightshades, beans and dairy.
