Parnassian did you stop all sugar consumption while on ACV if not ACV would have little to no effect from my experience. How many days did you take it for?

I have had my flare go down as soon as the second day I took ACV and Stopped having sugar(everything that contains sugar + Milk products - lactose).

I tested apple cider vinegar 2 months ago. At that time I had not eaten sugar or fruit sugars in over 7 months. I have maintained the no sugar diet since then as well.

If you like ACV may I suggest trying kombucha or even better Jun Scoby. You can make them yourself and Jun Scoby is yummy smile

I want to know what to do with the cider vinegar. It's quite easy to find in England. I have been on NSD for several months but have not cut out anything except starch. Wondering whether to go the extra step and remove sugars too. But the ACV sounds much easier!!!
What exactly do I do?
I guess the video guy explained.......

Hmmm sugars doesn't need to be removed generally, at least not for AS. I personally use honey and fructose in place of sucrose, but that is for different health issues (inflammation in waterworks).

I can't think of anyone here who had AS directly impacted by sugar.. although people on Earthclinic have had their Iritis clear up after removing sucrose. In my experience this is because people like to mix sugar with milky/creamy/fatty foods and THAT is when sucrose becomes an issue for my iritis.

I think you just drink some vinegar, a tablespoon (people put it in juice or water to make it less strong on the taste buds and stomach), but for some reason the idea is to totally cut out sugars. I wonder: Is this an improvement on the NSD?

I'm doing No Starch, and until I ate a piece of toast with butter and peanut butter I didn't realise what a difference it has made to my stiff hip/lower back area. That toast really could be the reason why the following day I ached really bad. I have not cut sugar or dairy as I'm simply impressed with the HLAB-27 argument and cant see why dairy would make any difference.

re the no dairy: I reckon yoghurt and cheese will be fine.
The sugars will already have been digested by the bacteria in the product.
