Thank you for posting this! I really enjoyed the videos. I've been experimenting with ACV for years, but now tried to not add sugar to diet when I add the ACV, and it's helped!! I haven't had any meds in 2 days, after taking many daily for 6 years, which is totally taking its toll on me!! I've tried many meds for AS and believe we need to heal our gut, and we need to feed our bodies with extreme care. I've been on a NSD-LSD for 9 months. Hopefully this lasts, not having to take drugs! It's a constant battle to find what works for you. Cheers.

My pleasure Jennyis1 anything that helps fellow people with AS, I would gladly post..... and thank you for your post everything you and others post here on this website is priceless, I am glad you are doing well.

because your success confirms what I am currently doing that is using ACV without any sugar and I am on day 4 with one teaspoon 2 x day with my pain going down considerable compared to day 1. On day 1 I was in a flare status after the second day my pain shot right down.I know some would say my flare is just calming down but I've being flaring for a month now with me bending forward with pain(My family has noticed an improvement in my posture) .

It seems like ACV is fast acting OR the lack of sugar in my diet is starving Candida which I might have and the apple cider vinegar does Nothing OR according to some of the comments on youtube, The ACV helps the stomach with digestion since its an acid and breaks down starches better and aids in digestion leaving little to no food source for Klebsiella like bacteria which are contributing to AS. OR both lack of sugar starves Candida and ACV helps with digestion having a compound effect.

These are just my thoughts,Cheers.

PS. send me a personal message if you want to discuss ACV further,I would like to track your progress and the progress of others send me your phone number so I can add you on whatsapp OR any other messaging app of your choice(I will only use your phone number for AS communication unless you state otherwise.

How are you doing with the ACV? I keep experimenting with adding a little starch or sugar. I think my progress will be better if I eliminate sugar altogether. I'm still not taking any meds, even though sometimes I would really like to. The brain fog and fatigue has lifted, which is so great, after being in a state of fog for years. I noticed Kyle Mecca took down his video for some reason? But I did get to watch it. Are you taking ACV with each meal ? All the best to feeling great!! J

Hi Jennyis1 I am on day 8 and I am doing great. I Feel like a new man after having such high amounts of consistent pain for the past 2.5 years. I am not having any sugars at all but I am having starches, provided you take ACV with your meal. Me personally I take it after a meal.

I should stress that you should not have any sugar at all. I had a sweet apple at night on day 6 and I woke up with sharp pains in my lower back, which only lasted till I had a bowl movement.

Yes Kyle Mecca has taken down the video he has now edited out his comments about making your own apple cider vinegar tablets and buying it from other sources. He has his own website where he is selling his own pills.

The edited video can be found here https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xXbT4ceinss I hope that link works I am using a tablet.

Hi L33,
Thanks for posting the link. I need to be more strict with sugar! The goji berries I eat have 10 g sugar per serving! Probably too much. I'm wondering about small amounts of dairy, such as cheese? Ive been having a little daily still. But today I woke with pain so I definitely ate something I shouldn't have. It's day 7 for me with no meds, so I'm doing at least something right! Best of luck- J

Apologies I forgot to mention that I am not having any dairy. Milk has lactose which is a form of sugar...sorry. All the best.

Hi All

This is an update at day 12 testing out apple cider vinegar and it is working well my pain levels have reduced considerably to a very mild dull pain which I can tolerate and not the mild dull nagging kind of pain. I would like to bring my AS into remission though but still experimenting with ACV. I take 2 table spoons with a glass of water with each meal currently.

I did have sweet meats(Indian delicacy) which are very high in sugar a few days ago just to throw a spanner in the works to see what happens and the next morning and I woke up with high amounts of pain in my SI joints and lower back, which passed after a bowl movement.

This just confirmed to me why I should not have any sugars.

Also going to the toilet regularly ,whenever you feel the need is very important in the amount and duration of pain you have.

Eating too much starch and taking too small amounts ACV will still leave you in pain. I am currently experimenting with how much is enough for full pain relief...

This is an interesting discussion. When I took apple cider vinegar I had a significant AS flare. Has this happened to any other users?
