Hi Everybody,

My husband has been on the NSD for over a year now and while it has helped a lot he is still having a lot of trouble at times. He is considering worm therapy, but we are of course nervous and want to learn as much as we can. Has anyone tried worm therapy?

Husband diagnosed with AS in '92. Enbrel appx 2011- March 2013 when ER doctor temporarily terminated. Grateful to have finally found Kickas in April 2013 and NSD since May 2013. Since NSD no need to resume Enbrel. Enbrel only helped hip pain, did not touch chest pain. Since NSD, both hip and chest pain have improved. Still takes pain and other pills daily, but far fewer.

Hi MaryL,

are you talking about Helminthic therapy? if so hook or whip? Does your husband have any form of IBS or allergies?

Check out http://autoimmunetherapies.com/... they explain it well and also offer it via mail

Hi Ev,

Yes I believe that is the type of therapy we are interested in, but I don't know which worm (eek, hard to even contemplate). Thank you for the link, I will definitely check it out. Anyone else out there have experience with this? Even anecdotally through a friend?

Hook worm would prob be the one they suggest . I know two people with arthritis that have tried unfortunately no results..that being said it is still early in the game..can take longer than 6 months before seeing results. It is a low risk theropy ..worth a try. Best of luck
