The last 3-4 months I've been waking up in the morning with red patches on my spine exactly where im stiff/sore. It mainly happens around halfway up my spine.
Is this inflammation? Do many of you guys get it?

Yes, it is probably a sign of inflammation. I have experienced these.

Gotta have access to decent and well placed / well lit mirrors to see... Aint got, so, dunno ! Can say that when inflamed, sure can 'feel' where it is ! And some...

I have weird acne like bumps on my back that new within the last year with no possible explanation like bad hygiene. I tried to show Dr.R but because I was pointing to my neck I think he thought I was joking, but I was serious! Skin diseases(of all sorts, even/ESP. The common ones) are very prevalent in IBD and see no reason why it's systemic joint disease cousin would be much different, other than the organs they infect.

Was hoping they would just go away. Actually have one but barely see her. Going to make an appt. and see if can do some metronidazole and/or a macrolide though. She's one of the cool one's.
