Is it just for, say, 7-10 days, or ongoing?

Husband diagnosed with AS in '92. Enbrel appx 2011- March 2013 when ER doctor temporarily terminated. Grateful to have finally found Kickas in April 2013 and NSD since May 2013. Since NSD no need to resume Enbrel. Enbrel only helped hip pain, did not touch chest pain. Since NSD, both hip and chest pain have improved. Still takes pain and other pills daily, but far fewer.

Hello, MaryL:

Usually, I took borage seed oil at 2g effective GLA (that is sometimes as many as 10 capsules at once) right before retiring.

The flare would seldom last two or three days beyond when I began, but sometimes I would need to do three days of fresh wheatgrass juice 4-6 oz empty stomach before really worst flare was knocked down completely.

Most flares could also be handled with four or five days of fasting, but when I had severe hip bursitis and stomach ulcers it took eleven days to get rid of each.

HEALTH,
John
