If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I thought you might like this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=qKO0G4lMUa0We should all be doing thoracic expansion exercises *daily*, and this is a good selection of rib cage expansion , chest cage mobility and some core/thoracic strengthening that is easily achievable at home.
Louise Happy to be a physio by day, not happy to be a Spondy 24/7!

Oh did I ever need this!!
I can't kneel (swollen knees) and I can't get my left hand up to my head but I sat in a chair and did the exercises (modified) and my rib cage is feeling a lot less restricted.
Thank you so much dear!!!

Only problem with me is that I have got so good at diaphragmatic breathing, that my lungs must push down into my abdomen, and I still don't get rib movement! I definitely can get a good peak flow though still, in spite of less than an inch thoracic expansion. My physio was trying to get me to expand my ribs but I haven't been that successful just by trying to push them out. Will keep trying though (as long as the costo doesn't flare up again as I come off steroids).
