It is becoming ridiculous! frown A small child would have had this stuff open while I still struggle to cut it open, rip it or stab it or bite it to start a tear. I always laugh and comment about it being 'Magician proof'.

Having difficulties writing. So I am now tending to 'print write' but even then I make constant mistakes. The numbers '5' and '2' and the letter 'N' cause great grief.

Reading novels is a thing of the past for my eyes tend to wander and tire so easily. A darkened classroom room is my nightmare.

I used to have good handwriting. Now I am embarrassed to show my chicken scratch. If asked to sign, I always search for a pen which feels 'heavy' in my hand and one which my hand 'feels' easy to write with. Welcome to Arthritis!

I shudder when I have to bend to pick something up. Often I will use my foot to 'move' it against something so I can use the something to hold onto as my knees bend in order for me to pick it up.

Today's messy hair styles are my best friends. Most days I do not comb, brush, style or wash my hair. I am happy to make it out of bed. Sleeping in means more pain from cramped back muscles.

I am just 44 (prime real estate) but walk like someone in great pain. Guess it is because I am in so much pain! Most days, my mind just dulls.

Wonder if young things consider me to be prime real estate/??/ maybe not, but I used to be when I was.........oh so so long ago it was............anyway, I am sorry things are a bit rotten for you at the moment but, keep going, keep at it,,,,, things will get better. Take upthe piano or guitar (ughh) these activities will demand all of your conciousness thereby giving some freedom from the illness..........Sitingat a computer i find, allows too much time to ponder on the grimness of things..........get on with the good things in your life as best you can..........don't allow the illness even half of a victory......................real estate i think is property? Is it?

Opening plastic packages is all about using the correct technique. Here is a good video example of how to do it effortlessly.

lol.....I have done all of those at one point or the other. In the cafeteria, I usually buy myself a small salad for lunch. Can't get that plastic container open either so I usually ask the cashier to open it for me. She is twice my age. frown

no, it is not that bad. Just getting used to what I can still do and what I have troubles doing. Some days I really rely on my 'stick'; others, my left hip reminds me I should have taken the 'stick' along. Today was one of those days.

Thankfully, I did not have to present my speech today. I will have tonight to make it read even better and add a few more pictures to it.

Oh girl...when I have time tonight i will have to write you my day..lol you do SO MUCH MORE but my little insignificant life goes a bit like this:

Wake up usually thinking I am in the dream I am dreaming..lol then realize oh yea THIS is my reality..then I remember I can't move...so I get my HUGE medicine bag and get out my 20 pills for morning, then lay in bed for 30 minutes before I can walk...get up go to the kitchen forget why I am there come back and realize oh yea Im hungry..go to the fridge look in and see the dishrag from the night before in the fridge and the salad dressing is in the cabinet where the cereal bowls are..I yell at the kids for playing a trick on me and they go...uh Mom you are the one that cleaned the kitchen last night....SO either I have the worlds ONLY 22lb Chihuhua that plays tricks on me or I am losing my ever lovin mind..lol will let you all decide which one..lol
