If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Just curious. From another thread, I found out I'm not the only one who twitches. I was wondering how many of you twitch -- where, how big the twitches are and if you what what (medically) causes yours.
For example, my twitches will go away for a month or so, then come back full-force. The worst ones are in my calves. When they twitch -- it's more like a rhythmic strum -- you can see about 3 to 5 inches (in length) move like a guitar string being strummed. It does not hurt, but is annoying. My kneecap moved once, truly, from the twitching. The leg twitches are usually when my back is at its worst.
Sometimes, I get smaller twitches in my shoulders, especially when my neck is in bad shape.
I assume the twitches are nerve related (back = leg, neck = arm) but I'm curious what others with twitching have heard.
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
(To the tune of Witchy Woman:) Bowww, bowww, Twitchy Woman. Her muscles move in her thighs!!
Yes, I know I am a dork and embrace it fully. ;-)

I'm a twitcher big time! It has gotten to the point of being very annoying. Right now my left shoulder has been twitching for the past couple of weeks. Sometimes it is the abdominal muscles, they twitch like you are being kicked when pregnant. Most bizarre feeling I must say. If my hands stay in the same position for too long, like when I am using the mouse on the computer my pointer finger will twitch and push the mouse button. I'm going to have to keep following this thread now because I am curious.

nothing too major and not too often so i really don't pay it much attention. over the eye and above / tops of knees. maybe elsewhere but infrequently enough i hardly remember, but the knee thing is freaky so that i remember and the eye thing rather annoying as that's the only one more frequent. maybe its a normal thing, my husband seems to think it is, or at least he tells me everyone gets these muscle twitches? maybe its the severity, maybe my level is normal, but yours maybe not so much so. wonder what causes these things? off to google: maybe this is helpful? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fasciculationfor me, i'm going with magnesium, as i think i was low. ever since i started supplementing, the AM calf cramps and foot cramps after foot in one position seem to have gone away. come to think of it, no twitching muscles since then. but looks like multiple possibilities as well. good luck figuring it out and finding a remedy.

Hi Holly.I used to twitch in my sleep before i started seein a Rheumatologist. My wife never said anything to me until we seen the rheumy, and then she told the doctor.I wasent aware that i twitches in my sleep. My wife said it scared her because my whole body would tremble and spasm. The rheumy said it was just all my muscles all trying to relax. I still do get twitches here and there, and sometimes severe charlie horses.
Wishing you well John

I think those little muscle jumps are fasciculations. I've had neuros say they are normal, but something must cause them. I get them in my thigh reasonably often - like others have said, nothing for a while then a run of it. I also get a kind of upper body shudder, that is like a whole ripple of twitches.

Adding some magnesium might help. I have twitches around my eyes (can sometimes see it in mirror if I look--quite weird). Get them in my right (dominant) thumb, which is the one that has some tendon inflammation on occasion.
