Has anyone ever seen/used one of these?

Softub

We saw one at the fair today. I don't like the hot tubs you see these days, with all the complicated jets and seating. This looked pretty good and simple. May be tempting to set up in the garage for the winter, then the patio for rest of the year....since it's portable.

Don't like hot tubs, full stop - like using someone else's bath water! eek2 You do need to be aware of bacteria build up. That, plus of course, they are using gallons of water - v. expensive and, not at all echo friendly. alien

Glen and I had one, for use just for the two of us, because we didn't like the idea of drunk friends in our tub either, especially while I was on immune suppressants. lol Low maintenance, easy to set up, easy to move, empty, etc. Highly recommended. It doesn't use much water at all, since it's so small, and you only fill it part way because your bodies fill up the rest, and if you always make a point to get into it CLEAN then you don't need as much of the chemicals either. Used it for a year, and no probs at all... even through a Canadian winter. smile

Then he broke up with me, cheated on me, and took all my $, so that was about the end of that. Whoops that's a whole other story. LOL

My Rheumy wrote me a prescription for a hot tub.imagine that!

Yes, but with the prescription, you should be able to delare it as a medical expense on your income taxes.

Good luck!

Hugs,

I don't know what your objective (business or pleasure) is, but have you considered an infrared sauna?

I had a regular old 6 person tub for yrs., loved it. I got in every night unless it was raining hard, yr. round. I finally junked it when it needed more than it was worth to fix it, thinking I would find a newer 2 person tub used that I could afford. I am still waiting, but am going to have one again, one way or the other, I sleep so much better when using one.
