If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I think it's 'loo', maybe we should look up all other idioms for toilet.....for the anal leakage thread.....
Swelling is still down today, but I slept till 2pm. LOL. Will be out later to movie and dinner with friends. I'll unwrap it for that occasion and see how things go. (Isn't it cool that they are putting letters on new theater? It's going to be nice not to have to fight traffic at 71/169)
We've gotta do lunch at Stone Mill some day. I ate lunch there last Tuesday--Chef salad. Ate part at lunch and took the rest for dinner at work.
Got most of the supplies for tiling and got a new toilet. Well, not the tile yet, but I picked out what I want and they have it in stock. Took out the old toilet and took out the stick on tiles that were on the floor and old (ancient?) wallpaper behind the toilet. DH has filled the holes in the drywall and sanded. Hope it doesn't take 3 yrs to finish.

I figured I had mispelled it..lol
YES, we are SO excited about the new theatre we have waited and waited since we first saw the sign go up, we only live like 1 or 2 miles from there so yes that traffic...how many times do you think we have sat in traffic on that same road together..lol and not even known it. Kohls right there is one of my favorite places to shop.
Glad you got to sleep in a little, hope you have a good time with friends at the movie.
I need to start some projects on this old house we are hoping to move 1 more time and thats it, would like about 5 acres with an inground pool, and enough bedrooms so that once all the kids are grown and gone and come visit we would have enough room for everyone..of course with 4 kids and our 5th grandchild on the way..we could very easily end up with 25 people if my last 2 get married and have kids..lol not sure we can afford a house that BIG!..lol
Yes we need to get together sometime at stone mill, my favorite is the sliced brisket..mmmm makes my mouth just water thinking about it..lol

That's the nice thing about working 2nd shift. Unless there is an accident....I never sit in traffic to or from work. Kohl's is great, if stuff is on sale. I rarely buy full price. Since I wear scrubs all the time, I don't wear much besides jeans/tshirts/sneakers. Cuts way down on the clothing budget. If you live where I think you live, your house isn't old. Ingound pool would be nice...if I had a good-looking pool guy. An inground spa would be okay. A heated ingroup lap lane??
Ankle still sore. Still taped, still limping. One more day of working on it, then back to doc. Would hate to find out it was a stress fracture and it needed a cast, crutches, surgery???? Yikes. Hope it just gets better on its own. Magically.

That is good, we went to kohls tonight and picked up 2 pool towels for $7.49 each reg. $21.00 then she gave us 15% off of that.
Oh we also went to old navy and they were having a 30% off everything in the store..I found 2 prs of socks and my daughter bought a sweater and a hooded jacket and we paid $13.00 total for all of it..we get so excited when we can see who can find the cheapest bargain..her sweater was $1.97 and then she got 30% off of ot and my socks said $1.99 so I asked her how much are these and she said I can give them to you for .99 cents each and then she took of 30% more we were so excited.
We probly dont live where you think, do you know where Arrowhead elementary school is about 61st and 161st? thats the area we live in they arent bad house but not real expensive houses either.
Ugg...yes I hate crutches hope you dont have to do that.
Hugs

Went back to doc today. Still hurting. He wasn't very sympathetic...grrrr. Radiologist didn't see any fractures in last weeks' xrays, but did comment about all the old fractures. I reminded doc that I walked on all those fractures before getting them xrayed 5 years ago, and have a high tolerance for pain. (he was the one who sent me to pain mgmt...lol)
He got me a gel splint, like an air cast, but with gel in the lower pockets around the ankle bones. I suppose it helped some. He also said it may be 6 weeks before it's all healed. Waaaaaah. Limped all around at work tonight. Ouch. Other foot hurts alot now. Tomorrow night I have a quiet station. And Thursday, too. Whew. But it still hurts.

Rumble, I'm sorry to hear about your ankle. I hope it heals sooner than the doc thinks it will.
When I was hit by the car 10 years ago, there was no sign of a fracture on the x-rays. ER would have sent me home, but the head of orthopedic surgery looked at my knee and said that there was definitely a fracture, as there was too much liquid around the knee for there to be anything else. Have you ever had liquid drained from an injury? Good god it hurts! Anyway, he booked me for an emergency MRI on that basis and it turned out there was a fracture of the tibial plateau (the top of the shinbone directly under the kneecap). It was going down through the top and that's why the x-rays didn't pick it up.
I hope something like that isn't going on with your ankle and that it really is a sprain. Comfrey is very good, and arnica gel will help with any bruising.
Hugs,
Kat

It feels a bit better tonight. Splint may be helping this....although I'd never guess it could. Spent a lot more time sitting (like I'm supposed to) and that helped. Swelling is still same. I don't know where to find comfrey that isn't in a capsule. Somehow, I don't think it works the same that way...
