If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

It was my dads 50th birthday party on Saturday night. So as per usual (bad of me I know) we all started drinking early while still setting up for the surprise party. The Good By the time the party was in full swing, so was I. LOL It was amazing, I felt better than I have in a long time. I even managed a little dancing. Not to mention the terrible Karaoke singing. I truely was feeling so much better. Every time my glass was empty I would say it was time for my medicine. So anyway I was having a great time untill I felt I had had enough to drink. A few hours later the pain was back. I survived untill 3am by having a very hot shower at 1am and back to the party.
The Evil Because the alcohol made me feel so good, I feel I over did the dancing. I woke up in the morning in horrible pain. Even had pain where I had never realy had it before. In my heels. Now I know what my poor boy Jake goes through. So there I was back on the cane Sunday. And pretty much slept the whole day by force. Still stiff today but not as bad as I was yesterday.
So there you have it. Alcohol is not the answer to our pain. I thought I would take one for the team, testing this theory out.
Did have an absolutely wonderful time though.
Take care All Trish xx

Glad you had a good time. Seems like having a good time earns us a painful consequence.

I'm glad you had such a good time. Alcohol does have pain killing properties, but I believe only when taken in moderation. Sure doesn't feel like it the next day if you over-imbibe, does it! I'm sorry you hurt yourself doing it, but so glad you had such fun. Sometimes it really is the best thing to let loose. Warm hugs,
Kat

Luckily for me I can drink as much as I like and I am never sick the next day. But unfortunately I felt a little too good on the night and pushed my body to far. But it was great to feel normal for a little while.
I realy did have a great time and despite the pain it was exactly what I needed to give me a lift. I am in much hugher spirits and ready to get on with kicking AS.

Your experience reminds me of a saying, "There will be hell to pay tomorrow, but heaven is free tonight." So I'm glad that you got to experience a little bit of heaven... One of things I find interesting, is that some of the KickASers who are on the NSD have reported that Chardonnay can help take the edge off a flare. https://www.kickas.org/ubbthreads/ubbthre...true#Post335552Please do not interpret this as an advertisement for the NSD, just linking your observation with a somewhat related observation that others made. Thanks for taking one for the team! Hope you feel better soon. Freddie
