It was in the 80s in Detroit on Friday to close out the second-warmest April on record. Getting hit with a May snowstorm now--heck, even a May flurry--would just make me throw a genuine hissy fit, I do believe. Glad you are able to muster a more cheerful (and mature!) response to the springtime snow, Lon!

It was over 20C all weekend here!!! I actually got to work in my garden!!
Sorry to hear about the snow. Alberta got slammed too. You poor things.

It has been nice and warm here in N. CA. It's been up in the high 70's and in the 80's in some areas. It did get a bit windy. I got some more gardening done over the weekend and I have some more tomato seedlings to plant. I am shooting for at least 20-25 plants.
I am so sorry you have to put up with all the cold and snow. I would always be afraid of slipping on a patch of ice and falling. I am afraid I might break something.

Did you enjoy your road trip?
I am unable to walk much the last month or so, but I do so enjoy the Fall hunting and being in the snow.

Hmm, makes me wish I was back in Oregon, I sure enjoyed the high desert! I few itmes we went ot the water slides in Redding, where it would be well over 100 and then go back home and it would be a cool 80m maybe...
Will you can or freeze those tomatoes?
