If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Well just a vent here. Looks like the great outcome of my back surgery was short lived. Have been going down hill for the last month. All the leg pain is back and then some. Had to grab my emergency stash of Prednisone the other day. I really don't know what to do at this point. My Neurosurgeon, at my last appointment, said there was too much damage in my entire spine to expect to ever be free of this struggle. I came to terms with that and even the "tooth ache" leg pain that was there before this last development and surgery. I can't deal with this intense leg pain that even my pain meds don't work. Not quite sure what to do right now, just needed to talk to someone. Cindy

Oh Cindy, that's really crappy. So sorry to hear that. Does prednisone relieve it at all? I'm assuming it does to some degree because you're relying on it.

Sorry to hear you are in more pain. I hope you get some relief soon.
Do you have another doctor appointment scheduled?
Hang in there and get some rest if you can

But IF poss to put in an implant... Darn sad to read this from you, and after everything you have been through. Shoot gal. Love an (((HUGS))) don't make the pain any better, at all, but know in my strong thoughts and prayers. Molly C

Sorry to hear that you are having new pain, Cindy. If the pred helps maybe its just a quick flare of imflammation. I hope..
I know how disheartening it feels to go through a procedure and not have the outcome that you thoght you'd have.
Hang in there Cindy, we're all behind you.
Keep Kickin'AS Chris

sorry to hear this.
not sure what drugs you have tried for the leg pain. wondering if you've tried drugs that are designed for nerve pain, not that that is the cause, but may help? things like neurontin or lyrica? just a thought. i tried lyrica for my pain, all it really did was give me migraines.

Hi Wendy, The Prednisone? Before my surgery I was on it more than not. I was soooo glad to get rid of the new leg pain and not have to run for Pred. I've only been back on it for 3 days but it's not working yet. I used to get some relief after 2 days. Cindy

Thanks Kevin, Part of the whole pain med thing is my fault. I don't want an increase. I've been on this pain med regieme for 5 years and will be on it for ever. I don't want to increase unless forced to then my body will become too accustomed to it. Without this new leg pain, I can get away with the doses I currently have. Cindy

Jeff, thanks, I don't have an appointment with the Neurosurgeon. Last time I saw him, post op, I was doing pretty good. He told me to call him if there were any changes. I guess I'll have to tomorrow. Cindy
