If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Dean,
I am so glad you brought this up, I am 43 years old, and thought it strange that my hearing would diminish so rapidly. I think I was in denial about it.. I am going to pay more attention to it and mention it to my rhumy.

Hi Dean, I know that when my inflammation levels are high it seems as though I have to ask people to repeat themselves a lot, I also notice that during those times, I have sinus trouble, I'm not sure if that's because my immune system is run down from fighting so hard and I catch sinusitis due to that or if it's because the inflammation is affecting my nasal cavities and eustachian tubes causing fluid to be trapped in there...

I have tinnitis as well, but I assumed that was because of all the NSAIDs I've taken over the years.
Dean, tinnitus can be caused by many things and you're right, the use of NSAIDs can cause it, so can MS, the use of methotrexate, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, which I have...I'm posting the link to an article that you may find interesting, near the bottom of the piece is a list of causes and factors, I was surprised by some of them....

You are so rotten... Years ago, I worked in an oil refinery and we had to wear the big, stylish, orange earplugs to prevent tinnitus, they showed films about it during every safety meeting, of course we all threw our plugs in the trash on the way out of the meeting.

OK, so I did the stretch they described in the article at Wikipedia about T.O.C. (nerve gliding). The tips of my fore finger and middle finger immediately got extremely sharp pins & needles. That was totally whacky! Only happened on the right side. Oh, and Alan, I have to think that since you were listening to Mig when the tinitus happened, it must have been an especially beautiful tone!! As a side note (if you'll excuse the pun), my tinitus generally manifests as Concert A on the musical scale. Warm hugs,
Kat

Hmmmmm..... When I was getting pins and needles in my hands a couple of years ago, an osteopathic doc recommended a stretch very similar to the TOC stretch at Wikipedia. Two days of doing it twice a day and my hands were fine. It recurred a few months later and I did the exercise again and it went away.
We're all different. I'm guessing you were putting pressure on that nerve with the stretch.
