Ok so I talked to Rheumatoligist on the phone and MRI shows no evidence of AS. He says he's not worried about stiffness but if I having a lot of pain it would be another issue. I explain pain only gets worse with starch and his conclusion is that I have a dietary intolerance to acid forming foods? Namely wheat and citrus? When I explain that its really any starch he says that all starch tends to be acid forming! I can't say I agree with this theory.A quick search on the internet reveals list of acidic and alkaline forming foods but some of my worst offenders such as potatoes are are alkaline forming such milk and potatoes.
