If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

The alarm went off at 4:30 AM. It was time to go running. One of the guys I was running with said he wanted to run 20 miles. I thought 18 was all I would go. We drove to American Fork Canyon, and started running up the canyon in the dark. I really don't like running in the dark, but if we waited for later it would be to hot. I had a deer run across the road in front of me about a mile before Tibble Fork dam. I made it to the top 7 1/2 miles later. I said to the other guy how much further are you going? He said this is as far up as we go. We turned around and ran down the canyon. I thought I guess we are only going 15 miles. When we got to the Timpanogos cave visitors center ( where we stop for a some water). I said we only going 15? Jared said to Harold you didn't tell him the plan did you.
We ran to the bottom of the canyon then hitched a ride back up the canyon 5 miles, and ran down again. The stiffness set in as we rode back up the canyon, and the first 20 yards of the run back down the canyon hurt. I was very tired when we finished, but I stretched out really well after the run, took a nap, and was fine.

That's awesome you were able to run that far and that you were fine afterwards! I can't believe you got up at 430 to go running though! YIKES!

Hi. I could see it in my mind! Amazing how mthose creatures will let you get close in the dark, though they see very well. I get stiff real quick going down hill... hmmm You are the example for me.

Inspiring!! Do you experience any pain or breathlessness at all during your running or do you ignore and go thru the barrier? I find the breathing difficult due to the AS progression but make a good go at speed walking for an hour a day. Maybe I will try a little 'shuffling' agian and see how I get on.

I have never had a shortness of breath while running. I do often have pain at the beginning of the run. I figure if it goes away after 1/2 mile it was not a real injury just the AS. Good luck
