I was cooking dinner when a teething Sean came up behind me and bit the back of my leg! I spun around and picked him up and froze. I know better than to pick anything up and twist my body at the same time...bad...very bad. Anyways, I'm recovering and who could blame the big cutie anyway?

Oh my goodness, look at those cheeks! I want to pinch them.

Sorry about your back, but yeah...I can understand how all would be forgiven.

I'm sorry, but I actually laughed. Not at the jolt to your back, but ... he BIT your LEG???!!! I suppose mummy is nothing more than a great big teething ring!

Hope you're feeling a little better soon. The twist and pick up move, as you know, is really not a good one.

Warm hugs,

Kat

Like Kat, I laughed too!

I sympathize with you. I have an 18 month old teething machine and biting monster! I have the arm wounds to prove it too!

Anyway, I hope you're feeling better really soon.

Take care, Sera.

P.S. He really is a cutie...congrats!

Errrr. right well. I should call the police, straight away. These young tearaways need a sharp lesson . Have you thought to confiscate his baby walker? oh yes, they don't like that, and tell him, 'Hey you, anymore biting and you're on carrot soup for a week', yes, they dont like that either, mind you, neither do I ........errrr, and failing that, well you could pull his ears.........errrr

Chrissy,

Can not say you forgot what might happen in doing what you did, but I would have probably did the same without thinking about it. Hope the back gets to feeling better soon. It has always amazed me of the things kids will do.

What darling pictures! I am sure I would pick him up in a heart beat...back or no back. Can't keep from smiling back at that huge smile.

Do hope you are ok. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Blessings.

Glad I gave you guys a good laugh. I actually thought it was funny myself...the biting the leg part anyway. Unfortunately, I did it again...changing a diaper of all things! Don't ask! I have yet to figure that one out. I think maybe my back is just on the verge of something at all times. There is a certain degree of angle when leaning forward that completely shuts me down. Anyone else have that happen? I dunno, I think everything has moved upward now because the normal pain in my lower back doesn't seem to bother me much anymore. Weird.

i used to think it was something i was doing, something i could prevent,
but then one morning i just couldn't get out of bed, or another time, it got worse as i was sitting in what is usually a good position in my recliner, and currently, i feel it "pull" or whatever you want to call it when i shift position from one leg to another. so i think there are times when its really out of our control, and for me, other times its so stable, it doesn't really matter what i do.
