I've been hearing about these shoes for years and was wondering if anyone out there has ever tried them. I'm thinking about getting a pair this summer, but would like to hear some "real" testimonials.

I wonder if it's based on relexology? could be some validity to the principles of the shoe.

montrail flip flops

These are my personal summer favorite. A softer, but supportive flip flop, that you can actually mold to your feet so it's like having a built in orthotic.

I've heard about those shoes you mentioned and have always been curious about them...let me know if you try them.

Well I can speak for the crocs...

I have a pair of the normal ones, since they have holes in then it helps my feet with staying cool and keeping the inflammation down.

NOW..my husband Bill has diabetes so we were pleased when we found a website for Crocs for people with diabetes and other foot ailments. Bill now has 2 pairs of the medical crocs, they are a bit expensive about $70.00 a pair but Bill says they are WELL worth it. He leaves one pair at home and then takes one pair on the road with him.

I think Nordic gave one of the websites where you can read about the different kinds if anyone is interested.

I got a pair a few years back and love them. They are best on paved surfaces and great for posture. In Denmark they are only sold in MBT stores where they give you a special fitting and small walking course before you go home with your new pair. I haven't seen them at all (MBT stores) in the States. Do be sure to try them on for a while before buying. A friend of mine felt dizzy trying mine on!

Just wanted to write in: bought a pair of MBT sandals back in June when I was visiting the States. Had a special fitting as well as "walking" lessons-seriously, these aren't your old Hush Puppies. Took about 3+ months to get used to them, but now I'm completely sold. The small muscles in my legs and core are noticeably stronger and my my feet and hips are able to endure long, punishing walks or hours pacing a lecture hall during final exams. Much more comfortable than my orthotics. I'm recommending them to everyone I meet.---should mention that I just bought 2 more pairs for work-the shoes are great, too!
