just wondering if anyone out there who also has colitis has had any success with alternative treatments??

i have just been diagnosed and am due to start Sulfasalazine next week but was curious about any alternatives or complementary treatments.



also has anyone found eliminating certain foods from their diet beneficial?

Hi Christine - Yes. I find eliminating starches and brocolli type veggies and seeded items, also, onions, onion family and deadly nightshade family. Trial and error.
