One of the nurses told me that they prefer Quarks because they look a little more narrow; just a better look and that they think they are more comfortable. They have some really cute styles and colors and if you go to the link that I posted, they have really really good prices. I am going to order a pair to go with my 3 pair of Crocs. Some of these are just quite different even though I do have a really cute pair of red Croc sandals. Check out these Quarks. You may even find a better website than the one I posted. You find them mainly in the uniform shops.

Just sharing.

According to a trusted source, all nurses in Denmark now wear these MBT sandals at work. I bought a pair last time I was in Copenhagen, and they are my best sandal-buy to date. I haven't seen any MBT stores in the US, but I am sure there must be some. I would not buy them online, since the fitting and in-shop little training you receive (they teach you how to walk on a curved sole) are important. Expensive, yes. Pretty, no. But great for walking....

Thanks for the link. I will do a Google search and see if they are anywhere around since you recommend they be bought in person. I love the Crocs and the shoes that the nurses wear. One thing about the Crocs, you can clean them on the top rack of the dishwasher and you can shine them up with Armour All. They will look like new again. The pair I work in the yard with just gets hosed down when I get through. They are the first pair I bought and they have been delegated to the outside now. I have Navy (first), yellow and red. I saw some last night of the other ones that were floral and so colorful and pretty.

Nice taking shoes instead of pain, isn't it?

Have a good one.
Blessings.

Thanks, Possi.
I just looked at their map and it seems they are being sold aplenty, too, in the States. Hope you will find a place near you. In Europe, they have their own stores. It is a curious thing to walk into one such and see people doing mini-walking lessons, back and forth, trying to keep their balance. It is a different way of walking.
The principle behind the shoe/sandal - the curved sole - is inspired by the straight posture of the Masai people. As straight posture builders or enhancers, they are excellent for AS.
Be well,
N
