Hi there. From you post, is it safe to assume you aren't feeling the full effect yet? That's not so unusual. It can take some people several months to feel it. However, once it kicks in it's phenomenal in many respects!

I hope the Remimiracle happens for you.

Hugs,

Kat

Thanks for your response - I also have been told that I have fibromyalgia.

If I could get 50 % pain reduction it would be great

Greetings...

Tomorrow I go for my second infusion and I cannot wait. My first infusion "hit" me within hours - it seemed - and by the second day after I was able to stop taking NSAIDs. It seems the Remicade is wearing off slightly as I have had to take a couple in the past three days, but Remicade has made me feel better than I have in years...nay, a decade.

For some it takes longer to kick in. I do hope that after your third infusion you feel like I did. Please let us know.

Ken.

i didnt start feeling the effects until my 2nd infusion my last 2 the doc upped the dosage to 500mg and it seems to be working great even tho i know my back is still fusing at least i dont feel it anymore....altho im kinda in a flare right now which is making my legs very very unstable when i walk my feet drag across floor. i dont think its due to the remicade but the weather around here has beeen changing almost everyday hot to cold snowing to sunny and my fibro is really kicking in...on my next infusion i will be seeing the doc before the infusion so i can tell him about all these changes maybe he will put me on methotrexate or something.........oak

I have had 4 with the addition of Methotrexate before the 4th one. Sorry to have to say I have had no relief. He is deciding whether to stop it or not. My next one is due the first of July. He may change me to Orencia which is a new one to me.

May you get quick and complete relief.

Hugs and Blessings.

i had my 1st remicade infusion last week 500mg. i felt the effect within couple of hours after the infusion. my upper back pain and morning stiffness were gone. i havent been so painfree in years, it seemd like a miracle. but, the relief lasted until about the 5th day, then i started feeling stiff again. this morning i woke up with the usual pre-remicade back stiffness. i go for my 2nd infusion next week.
