So while it's awesome that we are having our bathroom remodeled right now, but my kneecap started to dislocate again today. I was more active, walking around, standing, and a few hours into the afternoon I felt it start to go again. I am starting to get frustrated and I really could use an email or a private message from someone.

:sigh hugs:

Marnie

I'm sorry about your knees. Mine have just started this last month to act up and it's very scary not knowing if you can take a step without it giving out. I hope yours gets better.

Hi Marnie
I feel for you.
When there is a lot going on in the house I do not use my crutch and all that changing of direction I loose concentration and my knee gives way. My ligaments are so bad and the rebuilt joint is so uneven that unless I concentrate on keeping my knee in line it gives way. Ice helps but only after the fact.
Good luck with those plumbers, You should always support your local plumber, we need love too.

Ah Marnie - been there done that both with the bathroom reno and the knee. Sorry to hear you're experiencing both at the same time.

The reno will be totally worth it and you'll be glad you did it ... once all the dust is gone from your house. The knee, on the other hand just plain bites. Do you have physio exercises to strengthen it?

Many hugs,

Kat

Oh Marnie,

Please know that we all understand your frustration.

I hope that your knee improves for you. Have you got it supported with a tenser bandage or anything?

Take care,

Trina

Hi everyone!

Thanks so much for reading! It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy when you guys do that round here.

Thankfully, the left knee, and the surgery, was 9 years ago...sorry if I didn't put that in all the posts, I ramble when I'm in pain I think

I started physical therepy next week. 2-3 days a week. Work is letting me work 3 days a week so I can focus on getting better for more days then I work. This kind of thing, has to rest and I don't rest at work. That's why I still have joints, i incorporate the 'use it or lose it' pretty seriously. I figured I was doin well goin 9 years on the other one. I had expected it to go 2 or 3. WHen I saw how clear the space was, I knew the doc that did it was good. This doc knew him too, so that made me feel even better!!!

I look forward to the PT. I've done it three or four times in my life since the first time I hurt my knee, it was either ice skating or skiing, I can't remember..Ok, enough rambles..that's what ya get when you ask a question

*hugs to you all*

Marnie
