Hi You,

Nope, we have not tried them, as i think it will be hard to get them here, but we are looking into it...

I am hoping the diet, supplements, and all the rest of the things Charlie is trying will work before we have to try drugs.

Take care, hope you find something that works soon.

Oded,
Sorry to hear about the slow results. I went through much of the same story earlier this year with only minimal let-down in pain levels despite meticulous NSD'ing. Gradually I realized that other factors were definitely compromising the diet (NSAID's, Candida) but even when taking care of these, I came nowhere close to going a few days without NSAID's. In the end, I ran out of stamina and reboarded Humira. Have been back on the biologics-ship since and doing well.

My point here is less to encourage you to go the biologics route (even though I recommend it) than to remind you that maybe you are not in the worst state you can be, maybe you can do a few additional months... It is not that I wish I had gone longer - well, I do but I just couldn't at the time - but it is fairly clear that once biologics enter the equation, testing with NSD becomes very difficult if not impossible. My own experience with biologics and other testimonies on this site speak of a remarkable, sometimes instantaneous, miraculous effect. Before being aware of NSD, I was on anti-TNF and very beany, hummusy, falafely etc. It still worked wonders.
In brief, if you still have a little more breath, it may be worth it to take a few more months, diet alone.
Best,
N
