CoolTech,

I like the name I used to be a tech but I was far from cool. However uncool I was I had a cool sports car and still have it, back to uncool the car is broke down in my driveway with a tarp over its cool body now. I cant drive the dang thing anymore not in town anyway but like many things AS you don't give up you set yourself up to make it happen. I read a post that said learn how to powershift true that does help so does making conversions to automatic where there is a will there is a way as long as the cash doesnt run out. I own a 1980 Triumph TR-7 never ment to have a v-6 with a automatic transmission. I learned how to make it happen and I'm now 600 bucks away from never shifting gears again. Just make sure there is pleanty of time allowed to get in and out of the thing.

I hope you win the insurance lotto what a pain that is almost as much as AS durning an ice storm. I showed up on this site the day my doctors "Girl Friday" called and taught me how to spell 2 words I had never heard before AS for short. That was just over 4 years ago. I dont post very often not near enough but I have kicked back and read quite a bit. In the early days there was a chat room that taught me more about how to over come this crap we all share than any Doctor could or would help. Your certainly in the right place keep an open mind the old timers and the kiddo's alike are great people and sources of information you wont find at any other place.

Take Care and Merry Christmas

Yes, I do. Right now my pain is keeping me from turning my head very far (ROM=Range Of Motion), and my ribs are aching most of the time. When I'm not limping due to sciatic pain of the right or left hip, I sometimes experience deep pain of both SI's at the same time which does not result in a limp, but is quite painful none-the-less.

I love my heating pad and use it every night-it rests upon my Obus forme, which is on my couch.

I was more thinking that the date of diagnosis would be in your medical records. Doctors date those things, don't they? I hope. If not, they're idiots.

Regardless, it's not so much that you would have to provide the documentation, but that the statement of your doctor (which I assume the insurance company would want as proof of diagnosis) could/would state the date.

Hugs,

Kat
