I have 2 boxes, but haven't tried them yet. They are air-activated heat wraps, and they are applied with adhesives and last about 8 hours (think of a large band-aid).

hi- i got one of those things called therm-a-vest i paid 10 dollars for it from the direct distributor, they sell for 25 bucks on ebay, dont buy from them i can get it for you wholesale.....you heat it up in the microwave for 1 min and 30 secs, then put it on. it is made from cotton and velcro, with ribs of BUCKWHEAT. it heats up fast but also cools down fast also. i wear it and it helps....i only have XL but it can be adjusted since it has velcro.....the ribbed parts with the buckwheat goes all the way down to the bottom part of your spine and shoulders also, i have fibro, AS/PA and falling apart at the seams it feels like!!! even in florida we can get cold at night here in the winter!!!

We do not have the heat vests over here. I am in Australia and what we have are like heat pillows that we can apply to a sore spot. We can heat them up by putting them in the microwave.

Your vest sounds like an excellent idea because it does not involve the urethane that you get in the thermoskins.

i am very interested in these thermacare heat wraps, they really do sound like a super cool idea. Does anyone know anywhere where u can get them by mail order? As i cant seem to find any in the UK. My boss has poor circulation and a club foot, hes recently bought the slippers that u take the inside out and put in the microwave on the internet from somewhere in america, its somerhin more like the therma care wraps i am interested in.

Heather,

I found this while searching "Thermacare+UK". RobinsonCare.Com. There is an online store and a telephone number on this page.

Hope this helps!!
Holly
