I just received a phone call from one of the nurses who run the Enbrel program at the hospital I get treated at. Enbrel has been approved FINALLY by Health Canada for use in treating AS......oooh BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have to be honest Paul... when I read your subject I thought the Leafs had somehow been given the Stanley Cup this year already.
Good news hearing about the Enbrel... I would guess this is better news (I think... you seem to be an awefully big Leafs fan).

That is fantastic news. I hope you get amazing results as I have. I wouldn't be walking right now if it wasn't for the Enbrel.
It took about 3 months for it to kick in for me but everyone is different. Some people get relief after a couple of shots and others it can take up to 6 months, so don't get discouraged if it takes awhile.
Just keep thinking, pain relielf may be on its way soon and you will be able to enjoy life a bit more.
