If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

First my mother and her mother had a full head of hair. My mother is 85 and she has all her hair. My grandmother died with a full head of hair. Now on the other side , my father went bald at a early age I believe 25. I started thinning out when I was 25 and then again when I was 45. I am pretty thin up in the nut head but since I have been on Enbrel 2 years, People(girlfriend) and (daughter) keep telling me I am getting new growth. So go figure. I have not had the problem you are having. I know when I was on the other anti-inflammatory drugs I was losing hair. In my 50th. Now I am 54. So I believe that it's all heredity, whether from you mother or father side. Good Luck on Enbrel. It will help with the pain and stiffness, but I don't know about your Hair. Dan

I woked up and noticed I was not getting older...I am Old!!

No hairloss here – my hair has actually improved since going on those meds (Remicade, then Enbrel and now Humira) and being healthier. You can also lose hair if you’ve been ill or had some major stress. A couple of years ago, I lost about 1/3 of my hair a few months after having been sick, but it grew back again.
Some of the guys I went to highschool with have already started losing hair now in their mid-twenties, so apparently it’s not that rare.

Steroids did my hair in, but Enbrel seems to have replentished the supply. New rapid growth for which I'm thankful.

Hi, I am not on enbrel but I have periods where I lose a lot of hair and then it grows back, could be tied in with periods of flare. Cheers, Debra

My hubby had genetic hair loss, started hitting him around age 25. He tried Propecia for awhile(which did help), but he hates taking meds of any type, so he quit. When he was 32 or 33 (fuzzy memory, sorry) he finally made peace with it and shaved his head . I think he looks sexy (wonder if it's the Stone Cold Steve Austin look, or the confidence he exudes? ) Anyway, I've been on Enbrel since March. I do go through short periods of my hair thinning, but the first one happened well before I started the Enbrel. I was on steroids at the time, however. Can't say whether your situation would be heredity, meds, flare status or maybe a mixture of the above. You should contact your doc for some basic labs, though. There are a few health conditions that can lead to hair loss, a very common one is thyroid related, and can be found through a very simple lab test. Wouldn't hurt.
