If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hello Buggie, Wow, at least noone stole any money from me. I am shocked that someone would steal their wife's savings. On the other hand, no I'm not supprised. I hope that your brother gets help. I had a relative that had that problem, but now she is very far from the person that she was then. I'm doing well. Thanks for asking. I am now walking without a cane or other aid. I am unbalanced, but I am getting better every day. My leftt side is still a litttle weak, but it is getting stronger. I will even be going to work again soon. It won't be long until I'm doing this . JK.
Take care my friend,
I hope this finds you well,
Daniel

They say that it takes an average of ten years for actual damage from the AS to show up on x-rays.
The whole breakdown/rebuilding process takes place on such a microscopic level, that by the time it's obvious to the naked eye, it's been going on for a long time.
Kelly, your doc may just be playing it safe by making sure the diagnosis is correct.
Thanks for explaining it that way, Chelle. Yes, microscopic damage.
After 7 years of suffering my CT Scan revealed "There is some mild arthropathy of the L.5-S.I facet joints bilaterally" so I was told I had mild arthritis, but I plan to ask my rheumy if the "bilaterally" was an early clue to AS. 5 years later the x-ray of the S.I joints revealed the subchondral sclerosis at both SI joints (blah, blah, blah) suggestive of bilateral, relatively symmetric, sacroiliitis." Yep, nearly 13 years. It was the repeat iritis that got the ball on the roll to Dx, because I already knew I had arthritis of the low spine and didn't pursue further Dx as the symptoms changed.
In the meantime Kelly, since you do not have any confirmed Dx of any bad stuff, may I suggest taking advantage of this time to update your life insurance profile (I suggest term only, for as long a term as you can get, to age 65 if possible), since you don't have any nasty pre-existing conditions to bump you up to a higher degree of risk which results in higher premiums.
Blessings, Sigrid

That's an awesome idea, Sigrid!! It just so happens we're working on life insurance for Eric, as he's the "worker" at this point... but you're absolutely right about the future! Thank you for the suggestion!! Kelly
