Lots of memories there Ben. I have to admit that Janis Joplin gave me a headache whenever she screeched and my sons only play her stuff when I am out.

I saw an older version of Ian Tyson a couple of weeks ago. He appeared at the funeral service of four RCMP officers who were gunned down by a loony with a rifle. He sang a much slower rendition of "Four string winds" and while his voice is still the same, it is much like wine that has improved with aging.

I still play all my Ian and Sylvia records and never tire from hearing them. I love going back in time.

I have to say I'm glad to see this. I think that cannabis is very useful in the treatment of the symptoms of MS, and that the inhaled form is the most uniform in absorption and fastest in onset. However, until today the only option available for inhaled cannabis was smoked cannabis and smoking is BAD.

Yes, there will be a huge black market for this drug. But I don't think that's bad. There's ALREADY a huge black market for cannabis, so this drug will simply replace some of that black market with a less harmful and safer form.

I'm pretty excited about this news, and I have, but do not currently, use cannabis recreationally.

However, the date (4/20) is noted.

Hm, after a bit more research, I see to what George (then Doctor Lighting) make reference:

So, not only does it help with the pain, but it also leaves your breath tasting cannabis fresh.

The question is whether Canadian doctors will consider it to be indicated in the treatment of AS, rather than restrict it to people with cancer or MS?

P.S. Just think, Kat is missing this great news.

Having been from the west coast to at least Quebec. Won't say what I think of Quebec but I so far will take Ottawa as the best city. Foul air and all just so long as I can smoke a little green. Vancouver doesn't get the best stuff lol I spent my teenage years in Victoria and they do or did grow the best I've ever tried. Ontario is a close second.
The praries are nasty literally watch your dog run away for two days before you need to go out and fetch him lolol. Only thing I like about the praries is the end of them.
Any way we can bring them rockies over to Ontario LOL. The Laurentian hills aren't enough to climb for me. I can't call them mountains. They are more like hills compared to the rockies. Rockies are always good for climbing some of the cleanest looking streams, with water that had no taste to it other than the taste of wet in your mouth. I took a lot of bus trips and made a lot of stops along the way lol.
Unfortunately all of my pictures got stole with the negatives. Maybe again someday I'll do it again.

It could have been worse. There could have been a family of bears 200 meters upstream doing naughty things in the water.

Have to disagree with you. I wouldn't have put Ottawa in the top ten cities of Canada, even if they kicked out all the politicians.

Some of us have great pride and attachment to our prairie homes. We're also the kind of people that wouldn't slag another person's home publicly, no matter what we think privately.

Ottawa is a nice city, I've enjoyed my visits there. But out of all the cities I've visited, if I had to live elsewhere than Winnipeg (within Canada), I'd like best of all to call Saskatoon home.

Yep, I can attest from vera sad experience, whatever you do, don't slag Saskatoon.

Note: Regina, on the other hand, is an entirely different story.
