If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has tried Remicade infusions? I will be starting this therapy in April. As I have mentioned before I have Uveitis in L eye which is currently active and am trying to find a long term drug besides Oral Prednisone that will bring my Uveitis and AS to remission. I was also prescribed Methotrexate and am currently on a short term course of oral Prednisone for my major flare up. Is anyone currently on this combination of Meds and has it helped at all? Thanks much. Julie

Hi there Julie, I'm currently on mtx and remicade. This has been a wonder drug for me!!!!! I get my remicade infusion every six weeks. It starts to ware off at about week five, but the pain is not too bad. Good luck with your infusions. I hope it helps you as much as it has helped me. Debora

Hi Julie! I've been on Remicade for almost two years now and it is the best thing I've ever done. The AS went out the window the day after my first infusion and has never been seen since. But I have had Iritis since on R, so in my case it doesn't seem to do so well against that. I'm also on Methotrexate, which is common practice in Sweden, to increase the efficiency of R. I've not suffered any adverse side effects, only some slightly elevated liver enzymes, which went down again after lowering the MTX dosage. Hope you have the same luck with Remicade as I have! I was downhill skiing during the easter holiday and actually took a fall when I was going with a not to slow speed, and didn't feel a thing best regards Mattias

Hi Julie, I was on Oral Presdisone and Meth when I had major major flare-ups. I would get Uveitis and Iritis, when one eye would clear, the other started. I was on drops up to three months. The doctor finally gave me a shot in the eye. But back to your question, No I was on Prednisone for about two weeks and the meds didn't do any good for me......I am now on Enbrel shots, and I have not had a major flare-up in about a year. Hope it works for you.

I woked up and noticed I was not getting older...I am Old!!
