HI EVERYONE

saw the rheumy today first time I have met this doctor and he was very good,
it turns out the expensive meds are not available on the NHS here in the uk for AS
so he as had to send me for loads of tests to gather as much evidence as possible to make a case that he can put forward to the leeds medical trust or was that leeds medical research to aply for a grant from them to pay for the meds.
I did go with the intentions of telling him i whant the biologics thinking I would be shot down in flames but right from the start he said he whanted me on them and if I was happy with that he would do every thing in his power to get them for me .
he is sure the brain fog is down to my inflammatry gland working so hard.
Is there enyone in the uk had this problem would be great to hear how you got on as this is all new to me
trying not to get to hopefull not sure what the sucses rate is of getting these grants?

hope to hear from some of you soon , tone......
