If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

A recent discussion about a vexing problem, at least for me, connotes the worth / value of KickAS. mig and Janet are definitely Ophthalmic Goddesses in my book! Best regards, jcwinnie The vexing problem, Loz' golf game, of course, oh, you thought...

Meanwhile I live and move and I am glad, enjoy this life and all its interweaving. Each given day, as I take up the thread, let love suggest my mode,my mood of living. (Fred Kaan, 1975)

Hi There, I am no Goddesses, but I guess the years of working on an Ophthalology floor helps, and the experience I have had first hand. It is nice to feel some of me past life can help someone else.(I am on a disability pension now for 13 years) WOW.

Janet, I did not see your name in the original post (rather ironic since we're talking about eye problems ). However, you do so deserve the goddess accolade! So there. Hugs,
Kat

Silly JC! I did recruit Janet with good reason! She has more personal knowledge and experience on the potential for negative consequences from pred, and her words are a valuable inclusion to any such thread. It was due to Janet and her research/homework on systemic approaches to treating iritis that first clued me into considering such a route for myself. My problem is I have a really hard time keeping away from this place for any length of time and/or keeping my fingers in check. I am actually very uncomfortable with the whole concept of trying to help others via the net in cases like these, other than to encourage people to seek professional care quickly. I think the positive value about these kinds of threads really lies in the cummulative knowledge viewed as a *whole*. I would hope that people shy away from taking a single source of advice, and recognise that it was the total response that serves to help. This group is one great bunch!
