Hi All,
I hope all of you are coping with your AS. I am a 47 year old female from Indiana. I have had severe AS the past four years. My hubby was taking care of me until he had two strokes last fall. Now I take care of myself and him. It is really hard. When my AS
flares up I just can do the simple tasks to make it through the day. Cooking, cleaning,
washing, and picking up the house are all major tasks. I have been doing this for over a year now. Just when I thought it couldn't get much worse. My hubby was told last week he had lung cancer. I have always believed in God. But now I find myself questioning why,and what have we both done to get all of this dumped on us? I just want to cry, but I am all cried out. I just feel so empty inside. I just wanted to ask if you would pray for my hubby. His nic name is Doodle. He is a great guy. We have been married 21 years,

Wow, I am so sorry about your hubby! I dont know what to say, except that I wish you both the best. I will most definately add him to my prayers. Hang in there!!!

hello rebecca, WELCOME TO KA.....im sorry to hear about your hubby, I understand how much you are doing for him and the pain your in because of it...I have no words that I can give you to help you, for that I am very sorry....I hang on by saying over and over again "one step at a time" "one problem at a time"..everything will turn out ok....oak

With your AS it must be very difficult for you in every little way to get things
done, just one day at a time and hope the sun will shine brighter for you
