Hey John, Gladstones, the restaurant where we had KA's first party, is in Malibu at the intersection of The Pacific Coast Highway and Sunset Blvd. I have driven by there several times since I moved to Point Mugu...it's the fast way to the beach cities. First trip would probably be solo. I haven't been back since I came here 22 years ago, and all the things I want to do would probably bore anyone else to tears.
Mum told me that British Airways is offering a $99 each way fare if booked by end of this month and travel completed by March 19th, 2005. Gotta look into that, and get my passport sorted  I had all the paperwork done, but I have to redo my pictures as they have a new security requirement that you cannot be smiling in the pictures (makes it harder for the facial recognition software to pick out features).

Yes Steve, it would have been great if you'd made it to Canada, but then again, it was great anyway, more than great in fact, but it would have been greater still if you had shown your face. I hosted the small UK 2002 party. KAers in attendance were Lord and Lady Simpo, Timo and Funksterman. I met Sue in Oz for a one-to-one lunch one October and I made it accross the pond to Toronto 2002 and Ottawa 2003. Come to think of it I've met some pretty cool people, several of them more than once. Speaking of cool people, I also spoke to Deanpaul on the phone once.
