Talked to them both on New Years Eve... Eric sounded good and Lori was waiting for his Dad to come so she could go sleep in her bed... Have to give a call today to find out what is up and I will repost here... Mike

Terry Just talked to my main man... He is on liquids and not sure when they will let him try solids... His Dad is staying with him so I am sure Lori is recharging her batteries at home (probably in a semi coma) as even the energizer bunny runs down on occasion... He hopes to get released on Tuesday or Wednesday (just so excited to get back to school  )... Sounds in excellent spirits and think he can't wait to get out... Mike

Hi Mike & Terry Mom came home to do laundry, housework, and pay bills. I will be back up there with Eric tonight. Erics belly is not sounding any better, but he did have his first Remicade infusion last night. He made it through it, but the nurse told me when it was all said and done that she was nervous about it....Eric reacts to a lot of drugs and she was afraid that he would react to the Remicade. They found a 1st degree Primary AV Blockage in his heart. At this point I do not know what will come of this as the cardiolgist goes back and forth. I will get him released and a second opinion at a different hospital. As Mike said, Eric is still on clear fluids, and not eating much. His GI doc is not sure when he will be able to go on solid foods. Cant go home until they know that he can handle things. We are shooting for Tuesday or Wednesday, but no promises. I want to thank everyone that has called or sent cards. It really perks him up. Kathy, thanks for the balloons. He loves them. Eric convinced them to put AOL messanger on the computer, and now he can chat with his friends when he gets computer time. That helps him along.... haven't been on in a little while. I was hoping things were better for eric. I will keep praying for him. What he is going through sure make mine seem small. I hope when I check in again he will be all better. Good luck
